Yes, the price might look a bit high (and it is), however I've owned a lot of different shaving soaps and creams over the last 20 years, some with and some without their official bowl/cup/tub/mug and I have to say that this one is of very high quality, and looks nice with any decor, protects the soap, and will last a lifetime. Of all the soap &dishes I own, this one is the only one I would purchase again if it were lost/stolen/destroyed.

Looks nice on the sink and holds a long time supply of shaving soap. Great design and less shaving cream cans in a landfill.
