10/01/2009I absolutely adore this lip balm. I got this from Delta on a flight from Europe and I've become addicted to how it makes my lips feel. I read some of the bad reviews on here and I just can't imagine this soft mild lip balm as hard, dry and sticky. Seems to me maybe they had old product.

07/19/2009I got this as part of the Shea Weatherproof set, and mine was very hard and waxy as well when I received it. I read a review on another site that said to just scrape off the top layer and it will be fine. I tried that and underneath the lip balm was much softer and easier to apply. It keeps my lips moisturized for a long time but the taste and smell are a bit strong for me. Think I will reserve it for the winter or when I am flying.

02/09/2009I bought this because I love L'Occitane's hand cream and I thought that this might be just as good. But, I was disappointed. This was really hard. I have to rub it with my finger for a couple of minutes before I could put it on my lips. But I got a tin of pure
shea butter with my order, and I now use that for my chapped lips.

01/22/2009I first received this as part of a Christmas gift two years ago. I loved it and used it everyday. I got it again this year and got a hard yellow stick. I can't use it. I think if you are buying this in the future, check it out in the store to be sure you are getting a "fresh" product. It seems as if this may just be a problem with shelf life.

01/21/2009I received the Lip Balm with the Shea Weatherproof Set. Everything else in the set was great except the lip balm. I am extremely disappointed with this product. Like the previous testimonials, mine was hard, dry, and sticky. I tried applying it to my lip, it made my lip even drier than without the lip balm. I am also not sure if mine just went bad or else!!

01/13/2009I just received my order which I was quite excited about. Thanks for the quick delivery! I am very happy with the other products I purchased (body cream, body lotion, and lip gloss), but this one... I'm quite disappointed. It feels quite dry and waxy. The stick is also very yellow. Not sure if it has gone bad or that's the way it is.

12/28/2008This item made it on my Christmas list because of the rave reviews I read here. I did receive three of these items-- all three were yellow, hardened, and dried out. I have to rub it on my hand for quite some time to get the product to be smooth enough to apply to my lips without hurting them. Very disappointing.

shea butter Lip Balm stick. My kids (8 & 5), my husband, my mother and mother-in-law, my siblings,...everyone! I love this product...it is the first L'Occitane product I tried and it is still my favorite. It is perfect for young and old, male and female. I love to give the lip balm and hand cream to anyone taking a flight. It is a lifesaver to the drying effect that flying takes on the hands and lips. Thank you for such a wonderful product!

11/26/2008Disappointing. I ordered this because of the great reviews, but when it arrived the color was more yellow, the stick itself was hard and dry. It actually chafed my lips during first the application. Due to their return policy, I'm stuck with this "opened, unreturnable product."

11/21/2008This is a particularly good product for men, because it is a lip balm without the fancy/fruity flavors or smells. The scent/flavor is of a more earthy/nutty flavor and is very subtle. You get the benefit of a lip balm, superior moisturizing, without glossiness or

11/12/2008This is the best ever lip balm. My husband even uses it when he feels like his lips are getting a bit chapped with the cooler weather. He doesn't like the feel of chapstick, and this has not been a problem for him at all.

08/23/2008After many attempts with other products, I found this lip balm to be ideal for my lips that are easily chapped. Since the first time I tried, my lips were so soft and hydrated, that I did not hesitate to buy it. Already going for the second and remain faithful to it!

07/14/2008My husband tends to get chapped lips during the winter months and I've tried just about all the products on the market but they haven't worked for him...that is until I found this
shea butter Lip Balm. He tried this and it worked beautifully. I liked it because it didn't have a "taste" so he wasn't tempted to lick it off (such a child!). His lips were SOOO soft and smooth. I've purchased additonal tubes and kept them on hand for both of us. BEST product for lips I've ever found!
