This in combination with the Brightening Essence is incredible. I have mature
sensitive skin and it is now radiant and young looking. I can't believe anything out there is better than these two combined. I feel very fortunate to have come upon these items and will be forever indebted to L'OCCITANE for taking me out of my misery.

I love L'OCCITANE, but this is a miss for me. It has a lovely texture, but it has a strong green leafy scent to it that really turns me off. And I notice it balling up a little depending on what other serum I put on my face. I don't think I will buy this again. :(

I love this cream!!!!!! I have been using it morning and night for 3 days and saw a difference instantly!! Im 41, I have large pores, some acne scaring and fine lines. I swear I see a difference!! I even took before pictures and I'm going to compare monthly. I am generally a negative person (I've been told ;) but, I'm telling you now- I am in love with this product!!!

I used this cream right after cleansing with the
Immortelle Brightening Cleansing Foam and then applying
Immortelle Brightening Water. The cream is the perfect finish. My skin has never looked this good. Smooth and even. I don't even remember those blotchy patches and dark circles, and I've only used my new
skin care products twice. That's how good it is.

I generally love L'occitane products but short time after applying this I found that it just balled up and flaked off rather than being absorbed by my skin. I've varied the amount I used to see if that was why but I had the same outcome regardless. I will not be repurchase this item.

I tried the sample and found myself rubbing off some rubbery residue from my face a couple hours later. While the product did not cause and adverse reaction, I'm not excited about applying a product to my skin that is not absorbed, but rather leaves a film on my face. It's okay, not a product I would recommend, but also not one which I would enthusiastically endorse.

I was by dermatologists I have oily skin and should not use "natural" products, I stayed away from L'occitane's skin care for a long time (and had persistently bad skin). After trying an Immortelle sample, I bought a travel size, and will now graduate to full-size: for the first time in my adult life, I have had clear, smooth, pretty skin for ten days in a row, with no signs of stopping, and am totally devoted.

I'm pretty sure this cream broke me out. I've been using nothing but loccitane products for the past 2 months, and have recently had a few breakouts. The brightening cream is the newest addition to my regimen, so I think it's to blame. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and wanted it to work so bad, but it just makes my skin worse!

This is worth every penny. You only need a pea sized amount for the entire face. It makes the skin baby soft and I wake up the next morning with my skin looking brighter. I wish they had a bigger bottle though it is expensive, but you get what you pay for. It's luxurious and high quality.

I am not anxious to use the Immortelle, but have found this moisturizer worth every penny. It does not irritate my sensitive skin and is light weight for every day use.

I exfoliate with the Brightening Smoothing Exfoliator from the Immortelle line twice a week and this product in conjunction with the Brightening Essence has done wonders for my formerly oily/acne prone skin! I love wearing it at night because its light gell cream texture isn't too heavy and won't break me out while I sleep.

Speaking from experience, this moisturizer has an ideal texture for oily skin. It is desribed as a "light gel-cream". If you have very dry skin, you really should use a moisture serum with it (such as Fabulous Serum/Regenerating Concentrate). If you experience flaking, you are using too much product. Use about a pea-sized amount and, again, make sure to use a moisture serum unless you have oily skin.

I am 25 yrs old and use everything Immortelle. Its all great! Especially this! I too have oily skin and this cream gives the perfect amount of moisture. I have always had problems with scaring until I started using the brightening products. Im flawless now. To those of you experiencing the flaking with this product...try exfoiliating 2 times a week. That usually helps because that way you are moisturizing the living skin cells instead of the flaking dead skin. Im a L'Occitane employee, trust me

I have been using Immortelle products for years now so i thought i would give this new product a chance. This is nothing like precious cream but like a precious gel. It flaked on my skin without giving me enough moisture. and my face had a break out! I couldn't use it any more. I handed it over to my little sister. She wasn't too crazy about it either. what a waste of precious $58.......

i originally have oily-combo skin, but this product has been dramatically stabilizing my skin situation, no more oily feeling anymore! However, it isn't really moisturizing my skin very well in MN, so I usually wear fabulous serum before applying this product. But it alone worked perfectly during my travel to southeast Asia! the only drawback of this product is that it flakes sometime. But warming the cream on the back of my hand for 15 secs before applying it to my face helps reduce the problem.

I use this gel cream after Immortelle brightening toner and before brightening UV shield. It feels nice on skin but I have to agree it sometimes flakes. Does it flake because my skin wasn't completely dry before applying it? Does somebody have any advice?

I think all should note that this is definitely a GEL-CREAM. It will NOT be moisturizing enough on its own for those with DRY skin. You would want to combine this with something like the Fabulous Serum for more moisture. I have oily-combo skin, and although I do like this moisturizer, I admit it doesn't always hydrate me enough... however, I'm very glad that there is at least another option in the Immortelle line for those with oily skin.

i heart the immortelle line but i wouldn't recommend the brightening cream. i would have to agree with M C T, the cream flakes, comes off easily after rubbing it with finger, and is worse after applying toner (a non L'Occitane brand). I would switch back to the precious cream, didn't think the brightening cream would be that far off from the precious cream. Very unfortunate.

I adore this moisturizer. I have oily skin and constantly feel limited by products I can use. This one is great! It's light-weight but still hydrates my skin. And I love the Immortelle for anti-aging paired with the Daisy for fighting pigmentation! Great moisturizer!

I'm oily and very sensitive, I also have tried some of the immortelle products but my skin gets very irritated. But I got the immortelle brightening moisture cream sample in the mail and after I tried it, I can't stop using it. I LOVE IT, it makes my skin glow, I don't get itchy, no more oily face, it balances so well. I just love it. thank you so much L'Occitane for this amazing product

I didn't think I would've fit the "immortelle" type but what a difference this made. I am younger so I was looking more towards the other skin lines but this new brightening line in the immortelle is great because it helps with skin for all ages and types. I am usually oily/combo in the summer and dryer in the winter so it is nice to find something that I can use year round. When I sampled it with the exfoliator, brightening water, essence and moisturizer, my face thanked me with radiance!
