I absolutely love your products!  But I have one question, why did you discontinue the Mimosa fragrance?  It was just beautiful.  I have been unable to find a suitable substitute!

Again, thank you for such a wonderful line of products!

Sincerely,
Susan Thomas-Clark

My most memorable holiday gift was during my childhood.  I was at an out-of-town mall (a rare occurence in those days)with my mother as she prepared for my oldest sister's wedding.  There was a kiosk vendor selling inlaid wood plaques he'd made representing college sports mascots.  I was enthralled, but couldn't bring myself to shell out the cost for one from my lawn-mowing job savings.  At Christmas, my folks gave me the UNC Ram plaque, and it turns out my mom had to do some investigative work to track down the vendor who had only been there at the mall as a special event.  I still have that most memorable gift on my office wall 35 years later.

My most memorable gift was recieving a delicate gold and enamel music box from my mother. It was engraved with my mother's initials and was one of her wedding gifts. She gave it to me when I got married. I loved it but unfortunately, wound it too tight one day while playing music -and it broke. Its irrepaceable even though it does not play the "5th.." anymore...

My most memorable gift was given to my by my father's oldest sister, my Aunt of 85 years of age.  She knew that I loved sentimental gifts, so she gifted me with a treasured possession...my great, great grandmother's expanding hand fan which is probably 150 years old.  I didn't even know that it existed.  It was kept hidden from the grandchildren until I received it!  Generations of love!

For many years, I took our extended family gatherings for granted. Little quibbles between my sisters and I or small inconsistencies that were annoying would get in the way of my own appreciation of Christmas and other family events we would have. I would say to my husband that when both my parents were gone, I would no longer get together with my sisters as it was for my mom and dad's benefit that I would go and urge my children (now grown) to be there as well. Last May, my dad died suddenly. On a Friday, he was alive and on Saturday morning, my mother could not awaken him. He was gone. In the months that have passed, without anything extraordinary happening, my eyes have been opened to the incredible value of family. Time has become so precious to me that I don't want to waste a moment of it. Time has become the greatest gift I could ever have and I look upon family moments with a new light and appreciation. The squabbles and irritations have become but blips on the screen of all that I hold dear. Now I understand why my parents always insisted that we value our moments together. I love my dad and miss him terribly but in his honor I won't live in the time I have left on this earth without gratitude. As I'm sensitive to the loss, I will value the great gift of relationship and the small treasures it bestows with each passing season.

My most memorable holiday gift arrived when I was in the third grade.  It was a brunette Terri Lee doll, wearing a red net and satin evening dress made by my Mom. I still have the doll today, and just looking at her brings back memories of love she put into the dress and the sound of my her sewing machine, after I had gone to bed, for many nights before that Christmas.

My 20 year old daughter was at cheerleading practice on December 4th, 1996.  She fell and broke her neck, which left her paralyzed from the chin down.  Her fellow cheerleaders that were there saved her life by performing cpr until the rescue squad could get there.  We live 90 miles from her school and were told she may not be alive by the time we got there. When we saw her for the first time, she was on a respirator and could only move her eyelids. We were told to find a nursing home for her. My most memorable Christmas gift was on December 25th, when she moved her finger on her left hand for the first time. It turns out that that was only the first of miracles to come.  My daughter now walks on her own and although she has lots of side affects from the accident, lives a pretty miraculous life.

My most memorable holiday gift was received when I was a single mom living in Texas.  I had a broken garage door which exposed my belongings to the neighborhood.  I came home from church and there was a brand new door (the big one) with a big bow on it.  Although it was never admitted, I sure my parents had a hand in that.

My favorite holiday gift was my chocolate lab, Maggie.  She is now 11 years old, still beautiful, such a great friend and comforting presence, and always incredibly happy to wake up and see me each morning.  She smiles at me and just shakes all over.  I love her!  My children were 6 and 7 that Christmas, and Maggie has certainly helped me to adjust to their departures to college and into the world.  :)

I discovered L'Occitane products in a Central American country (of all places).  I purchased two products at the duty-free store at the airport.  When I return to the USA, I could not find them in my hometown, so I went to the internet.  I purchased a few and fell in love with the products.  I love the honey & lemon fragrance, specifically the shimmering honey & lemon perfume!  Not only this fragrance, but I fell in love with lots of over L'Occitane products!

I've always been a foodie and love to cook, but never had enough (or the correct) cookware to get the job done. So, one year my husband surprised me with a set of All-Clad cookware. I usually have to drag him into kitchen/gourmet stores, so the fact that he researched and sought out my dream cookware really touched my heart. Some would interpret that gift as a command to cook, but it was exactly what I wanted!
