Hello!

First thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.

I was wondering where L'Occitane gets the inspiration for its products' packaging. I am thinking in particular of the Shea Butter Hand Cream or the "boxes" some lotions come in. It is so unique (and great!) and I am curious to know if it is somehow linked to your French heritage or not at all.

Thank you!

Hi,

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to ask questions.

I have been a dedicated fan of L'Occitane for almost 20 years now, since back when I was a teenager with a friends Mom who used your products and we used to steel/use them ;) I thankfully now purchase my own and I just adore your Shea/Cotton line & of course Immortelle. I was wondering though if you had any plans to expand your SPF line, maybe a Shea SPF 50? and also if you had considered creating a tinted facial moisturizer?

Thank you for my happy skin

Hi,

Again, thank you for the opportunity to ask questions and comment.  I have used >50% of your products, the olive line, the grape line, the almond line, immortelle, the shea butter, the honey to name a few.
First, I wish you would return the almond, rose dew splash.
Second, I find that most mature skin requires more than simply nourishment.  Things like DMAE, lipoic acid, and the like.  How do you thing the new immortelle age defying (not sure about name) compares to products like Dr Perricone's or Cellex-C, the dermaceuticals?
Third, I did love the smell of immortelle but found it to make my eyes itch.  I suppose this is normal.
Finally, please offer more specials

Thanks,

Bonjour !

I love your products especially the Immortelle and Verbena lines! Do not discontinue them.. ever. I wish you carried a travel size for the Immortelle Moisturizers and you offered more samples or offered more generous samples.

Hello,

I am a huge fan of L'Occitane, I whole heartedly believe in the product.  About two years ago I started to get into skin care and found a great passion for the skin field.  I want to make a mid-life career change; do you have any advice how to break into the skin care business?

Thank you,

Michael

M. Baussan,
Besides being a huge fan of your products, I am even happier to support a company that has put its efforts into recognizing such wonderful humanitarian causes. I am wondering if there is a reason you chose to help the visually impaired. This cause is one I hold near to my heart as well, as it has touched those I love. I am also passionate about helping the environment and commend you for your efforts empowering less fortunate women in the world. With help from people and companies such as L'Occitane, I believe every goal is attainable and everything is possible.

Keep doing what you're doing. Merci bien!

I would like for certain L'Occitaine products to be available in large sizes - 1L - so fewer small containers are used worldwide. For example: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, bath foam.

Will L'Occitane ever make an eau de toilette from the lavender/tea tree/geranium scent (the scent in the aromochology foaming bath)?  It is my favorite of all your scents and I would love to wear it as an eau de toilette.

Monsieur Baussan,

Thank you for creating such warm, comforting and captivating fragrances and for doing so with deep respect for our natural environment and concern for indigenous peoples.

I'm wondering why only a few fragrances are offered in shower gel and body lotion forms?

For instance, I would love to have Labdanum De Seville in a body lotion form.

Merci bien!

Dear Monsieur Baussan,

First, thank you for creating such wonderful products.  I never have to think twice about where to go for gifts!  I would like to know if you ever plan on bringing back the Feu D'Orange candles and also the Mur Cedrat home fragrances?  I miss them very much and my stock is running low!  I understand the need for new things but I have yet to find anything I like as much as those.

I also loved the soap collection for charity.

Merci Bien,

Barbara

Dear Monsieur Baussan,

I agree with so much of the above statements.  I love your products and love the idea that you do so much humanitarian work.

I recently received an order of Shea butter body lotion and cream and was so sad to see that they contained parabens.  Are there any efforts being made to remove parabens from your products?  Also, before I made my purchase, I looked on your website for ingredients and it did not list all ingredients, only the main herbal ones.  If I had known they contained parabens, I would not have made my purchase.  Can there please be a more detailed list of ingredients on your website?

Also, with being a natural minded company, I do agree that packaging should be available to buy in larger sizes and perhaps offer refills in your stores.  Many of the local health food stores in my area offer this to their patrons, it saves resources, reduces waste and even saves the consumer a little as well.

Thank you for reading,

Brooke

Bonjour Oliver,
After many years of enjoying your products and the high quality and style they add to my family's life, it is great to thank you for your great work and of course your humanitarian / charitable devotion.

Because for my family we enjoy eating many organic foods, using high quality pure and organic soaps, skin creams and more, it is important to us to maintain the values we have in this area to all areas of the products we use.  Recently many reports of tainted food products, baby formula, children's toys have come out of China.  Does L'Occitane use any Chinese ingredients or products in your product line, and if so what?

We are very concerned about quality and these days many products made around the world use ingredients or parts made from elsewhere.  So of course we would be concerned for quality, pesticides and tainted ingredients.

M. Baussan,

From the humble roots of the Lavender bush to the global enterprise that L'Occitane has become, how do you keep your perspective on what is true in life?

Lavender is for lovers true,
Which evermore be faine,
Desiring always for to have
Some pleasure for their paine. - C. Robinson

Are there any plans to bring back the orinal Honey products.  I am not a fan of the new honey and lemon scents and The supply of Honey water I bought is almost gone.  I loved the Honey water and the facial mask. Please bring these products back the honey and lemon is just too loud for me!

Dear Monsieur Baussan,
L'Occitane's lavender anti-mosquito towlettes saved me from so many mosquito bites last summer while leaving my skin smooth and smelling terrific.  Please tell me they will be available again this year!

Greetings,
I'm on a mission to replenish my home fragrance candles and incense cones & sticks from what I gather to be a discontinued fragrance: Frankincense & Myrrh.
Is there a resource to purchase such discontinued items?
I have found other questions here and on Facebook, but no answers or suggestions.
Thank you for your time and consideration for response.

Salutations from Snow bound Pittsburgh... I experienced a delightful trip on Valentine's weekend at your Ross Park Mall Store - I was feeling cranky - parched = dry skinned and wanted to create a spa night for a shared heart inspired eve. The lovely sales associate helped me locate products that created the mood in the corners of my mind. I have an design business - your products are solely recommended to our customers...the one idea I want to pass on is to sell organic provence flower arrangements or at least incorporate the twiggly leafy items into the stores...I saw that you are hiring sales associates in our area. I am interested in working part time...due to your products - I look fresh from 48 to 38 = I get so many complements on my skin...my husband thanks you.  Would you consider selling dried versions of your organic elements or at least for display? I hope to apply for a sales position - Lovingly - Debra Scheer - Pittsburgh.

Hi,

I have used the immortelle line in the past.  I am 55 years old
and I have the same question as a previous one you received:

"I find that most mature skin requires more than simply nourishment.  Things like DMAE, lipoic acid, and the like.  How do you think the new immortelle age defying (not sure about name) compares to products like Dr Perricone's?".

Thank you.

What is the major difference between "Immortelle Precious Cream" and Immortelle Very Precious Cream"?  I am a 51 year old female.  I have used both but would like to know which one is the best for my skin.  My skin is normal with few fine wrinkles.
