Shorten The Showers

Long, steamy showers are very comforting in cold weather but they are also very dehydrating for the skin.

Hot water removes the skin's natural oils more quickly than warm or cold water. By removing too much of that natural protection, the skin becomes dry (flaky, itchy, uncomfortable...) and looses its moisture.

Take shorter showers or baths and use warm water instead of steamy hot.
