Aromachologie Purifying Deodorant

I have used this deodorant for the past 4 or 5 years. I don't overheat or sweat much but on those occasions that I do sweat more I have tried a drugstore antiperspirant or deodorant, only to run back to this product because my skin has reacted to the other product with a bad rash. This product has never irritated my sensitive skin. If I am sweating a lot I take it as a cue to take a break and cool down anyway. A plus - the scent doesn't compete with my perfume. One minus - hard to travel with.

This is the best deodorant I have ever used! I am used to using the clinical strength drug store deodorants that seem useless compared to this product. My armpits do not smell or sweat when I use it. I have yet to see any marks on my clothing, but usually let the product dry for a bit before I put on my clothes. Scent is strong when you first put it on, but quickly disappears. Does not irritate my armpits after shaving which is hard to find in a deodorant that actually works.

A little expensive, but really good. Smells good! Easy combination with perfume. I hope they have a travel size. Small size fits easily into a handbag.

Smells great, no marks on my clothes, leaves me feeling clean. I was worried that it would feel greasy or something, but it definitely dries everything up. I don't sweat a lot anyways, but it does a great and never shows up on my clothes. Worth the extra money just for that.

I absolutely love this deodorant. I will never use anything else again. It never leaves any marks and never fails me. I used to have lots of trouble with sweating, but not any more! Since I started using your product, I have not had trouble since. It is fantastic and I tell everyone to buy it. I never sweat anymore and never have to worry about odor. Thank you for such a wonderful product.

This is the best deodorant ever. I had been using the clinical strength versions of drug-store deodorants, but they irritated my skin and didn't even work. This stuff is amazing! Plus, it's all natural and cruelty free!

Hi L'Occitane, I really like this deodorant after using it for 9 months, but there is one flaw- the bottle! Whenever I travel with it and place it in my travel bag, it leaks everywhere, so that when I open the bag there is deodorant liquid all over my stuff- the container and cap need to be redesigned and made tighter. Thank you!

Absolutely the best deodorant and anti-perspirant I've ever used. Leaves no marks or smell on clothes. I apply it at night after bathing and it keeps me dry all day. Contains aluminum chlorohydrate, which keeps you dry. If you prefer aluminum-free, L'Occitane has other deoderants to choose from.

Not only does this product not work, the second ingredient is ALUMINUM! Which I am assuming is the exact thing you are trying to AVOID when buying this product! Totally lame.

I have found most deodorants I have tried unsatisfactory, and only acceptable at best. This deodorant is the exception – it keeps my underarms dry, has a lovely scent and is foolproof when it comes to protecting against odors. Moreover, it lasts for ages as only a little is needed, so although it is quite expensive in comparison to other deodorants, I find it cost-effective in that it lasts much longer than these cheaper brands.

This works very well as a deodorant, and smells great! However, take note: This is a deodorant, and not an antiperspirant. You're still going to sweat, (which is natural) it just won't smell bad. If you want an antiperspirant, then don't go natural, because it's the un-natural elements in those products which keep you from sweating, like the aluminum.

Best deodorant I have ever used! It may be expensive, but I was having to buy the OTC clinical strength which is twice the price of regular and it wasn't working either.

Bought this product for my husband after I red all the good comments from other customers. And THEY ARE RIGHT. IT WORKS. I will stock up more because this product is so popular, it always out of stock.

I read reviews and hoped that this product would resolve my problem. I bought 3 of them. I love the smell, but it didn't work well with me. My armpits are still sweating like waterfall. So sad and disappointed!

This is very good, it smells super fresh and it lasts a long time. The only thing is, do not put too much, it takes forever to dry up under your arm.

This is the best deodorant I've ever used. Little expensive, but you really get for what you pay for. Great scent, this deodorant works incredibly. I don't have to worry about odor and I just have to apply it once a day.

This deodorant is the best I have ever used and I've tried so many, both drugstore brands and expensive natural products. I often buy several at a time so I won't run out. I love it!

Hands down this is best deodorant I have ever used! I have been using it since it was featured in a magazine, at least for 3 years now. Nothing else works for me. I was definitely hesitant about the price, but its so worth it since I'm not buying a new deodorant every other week trying to find something that will actually work. It lasts all day and I live in the hot humid south. I always buy multiples since it sells out easily and I don't have a store near me! Highly recommend!

I am so happy i purchased this deodorant! I've used it in the intense heat of Vegas and I'm pleased to report there was no odor. I love it so much I purchased 3!

Hands down, the best deodorant I've ever used. The scent is great- sensual but light, and the deodorant really works- I've never had to reapply or worry about odor or sweat, even in the summer. I wish they made this fragrance in a body spray!

This deodorant is a life saver. No other deodorant would help me with my odor only this one. I love it and I am a customer for life as long as this product is around. Thank You so much for making this deodorant. I will try the the aromachologie crystal next since I've heard its also very good. I cannot wait to place another order.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii This is one of the best or Da best Deo Ive ever used... such an area needs extra pampering and care and this Deo gave its all with its aromatic smell and effective results give it a Try :)

I love that this is not just a deodorant, but an antiperspirant as well. Other natural deodorant products that use essential oils tend to leave me with pit circles, but not this one! It smells lovely and feels lovely. Buy two at a time!

This is the best deodorant I have ever used to keep me dry, not stain my clothes or leave streaks, and most of all its natural and smells very fresh!

This deodorant dries quickly and does not leave a residue. Does not do a great job at stopping perspiration for me, but the scent is appealing-- the cardamom, which is dominant, reminds me of Swedish coffeecake :)

Best deodorant in the world and completely unavailable. None of the stores have it. Unavailable online. I've stopped going to my local store because I know they will never have it. What a strange business plan!

Yes, this product is wonderful and works very well as others have said. But, all should be advised that is not a deodorant, it is an anti-perspirant in as much as it contains aluminum chlorhydrate. I would hope that L'Occitane would introduce another rolll-on that does not contain aluminum chlorhydrate.

L’Occitane response:
The Purifying Deodorant does contain Aluminum Chlorohydrate, so it does have the ability to block some perspiration. Aluminum Chlorohydrate is one of the components that inhibits perspiration. However, most anti-perspirants also have Aluminum Salts - these are the key ingredients in stopping the perspiration. The Purifying Deodorant does not have the aluminum salts. It is a deodorant as it contains essential oils that kill the bacteria that cause odor.

The Aromachologie Crystal Deodorant Stone has no aluminum ingredients whatsoever - but this will not stop perspiration - only kill the bacteria that causes odor.

My boyfriend and I both use this amazing deodorant, and it lives up to the hype. It is the longest lasting thing I've tried and with ZERO MESS. We order six at a time, as it is sometimes hard to come by. This one smells great, as does the more masculine L'Occitan version, and that one also works just as well. Friends gave us grief over the price until we got them to try it for themselves. I am now worry-free in tank tops during the hot Texas summer!!

I love this deodorant! I have tried everything and nothing stopped my excess sweating and wetness until I tried this product. I can go about my day knowing that I don't smell or show a big wet spot on my clothing, the best part is that it doesn't stain my nice suits either. I like the smell, it's subtle, and best of all I feel confident knowing that I'm protected.

I was desperate to find something to help me with excessive sweating. I had tried Certain Dri which did help but I didn't lke that I had to put it on before bedtime. I was in the L'Occitane store and saw this. The salesperson told me about it and I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it. It was as if I never had any problem at all! It is wonderful, you can put in on after shaving, it has a pleasant smell and IT WORKS FANTASTICALLY. I've recommended it to friends and THEY ALL AGREE. Try it! Its A+++

I was initially appalled at the thought of paying so much for so little deodorant. After trying it, though, I understand why! This deodorant is literally the best I've ever used. You are left dry and worry-free all day. The scent does not overpower your fragrance, but leaves you smelling clean. Make sure to stock up while you can, because it's usually sold out for months.
