I don't like the smell of this cleanser that much. I don't feel dry after washing, yet it is not working as powerful as Angelica does on removing makeup. I don't wear eye mascara, so I can't tell you how it's working on that.

I love this face wash. It has a light exfoliator in it and leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped.

This product is great! I have combo-normal skin, and have recently purchased the whole red rice line. I've been using this cleanser for about 3 weeks now and was under the impression that it would help with acne. I don't feel like it has made a big difference yet, but it definitely leaves my skin feeling great! I've also noticed a slight difference in my dark acne spots.

Hands down, best cleanser after so many years! Same goes for the Red Rice Moisturizer. I am so happy for this investment and believe me I've tried MANY different skin care lines. This is so reasonable, you will see and feel a difference not only after the first use. My acne has calmed and less being oily PLUS my foundation does last longer through an 8 hr shift. I admit, I am picky and this by far is the BEST. I'm not one to write reviews, but after reading all below, I had to try it. Worth it!

This cleanser is wonderful. Prior to using the red rice line I was using the Clinique acne line for years. While it helped with acne, my face constantly had dry patches, remained oily and at times very red and itchy because of the harshness of the product. This cleanser is amazing, never had a product work so well to leave my face fresh and oil free for a long period of time! My acne has cleared up and my face is back to it's normal color with no dryness...so nice to use a more natural product!

I am in my early 30's and have had oily, acne prone skin my whole life. It has been a constant struggle to find a product that works as well as this one. It's expensive, but worth it. A little goes a long way and my skin is looking great! My complexion has cleared up and I don't wake up with an oil slick on my face. It even helps control the oil all through a 12 hour shift at the hospital. Love it!

I have had acne problems since I was young. I was on accutane, and it helped a lot, but i still got a few zits with my cycle every month. I got this and the moisturizer a few months ago and haven't had a zit since. Even the acne face wash I used to use couldn't do what this non-irritating rice product has done. I am very impressed!

I purchased this because like many others, I began to develop adult acne that coincided with a really stressful job I was working a few years back. I tried Neutrogena products, salicylic acid treatments, nothing worked. I gave this a try and could not be happier. After just a day my face looked so much cleaner and my blemishes were disappearing! I want to stockpile this stuff! If you can find the exfoliating rice powder,I highly recommend it as well. It's like a miracle tonic!

I was using another product, but went back to this one as it is the best. I was having break outs at age 50, but the break outs have since gone. It's thanks to this product to which I swear by.

I've had extremely oily, acne prone skin since adolescence. I am now 54 and my skin is still extremely oily & acne prone. However due to my age it is a challenge to find an acne product which will not dry out my skin. I began using this line about 2 mos ago. I love it so much I cannot be without it. My skin is still oily but no more acne. I especially like the rice toner, it is so refreshing. If you have oily acne prone skin try this line, your skin will love it.

I am 20 years old and in addition to being acne-prone, my skin is also extremely sensitive. A sales lady at L'Occitane recommended the Red Rice line so I purchased all 4 products. My skin looked less irritated within one day of use. After one week, my acne began to clear up. I have been using it for two months now and my acne is completely gone! It has also evened out my complexion tremendously. I strongly recommend trying this line.

I just bought this product yesterday and already I see a BIG difference in my skin. I am 34 and I recently become very oily and blemish prone. I see a difference in my skin tone today and I am so happy I purchased the entire Red Rice line. When I have a few weeks under my belt of use, I will repost a testimony.

I have oily and acne prone skin at 30 years of age. I have tried just about everything! I have been using the red rice cleanser, red rice toner, almond apple lotion and the sweet peel, along with immortelle cream mask at night as a lotion and sometimes during the day depending on how dry my skin is. My skin has never looked better! I am so happy with these products! What a dream come true-beautiful skin that I have been longing for for years!

I only had this in the travel size. It cleansed without drying out my face. Didn't quite get the shine off my nose, but it smells amazing. It's now one of my favorites.

Love this product. I have sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin and this seems to be the only thing that keeps my breakouts under control, combined with the toner (and I've spent $$$'s on high end brands). My skin is left feeling soft, smooth and lightly scented.

This is a good product for acne prone people because it has zinc pca (an antibiotic metal attached to an amino acid) and it helps inhibit oil production. It isn't too drying, but a moisturizer should be used with it. It's helped keep my skin at bay, except for hormonal breakouts. It also smells nice, and it's a good value.I would have to say that I'm not a fan of the product having fragrance in it (though it smells ok), because this is the only part of my facial beauty routine with fragrance.

I love this product line. I have very sensitive skin and since turning thirty, adult onset acne. I can't use the over-the-counter stuff for acne because it's too harsh for my skin. But the rice line is perfect. My skin doesn't get oily all day and I have had far less blemishes since using the product. My older acne scars are also fading away! If I see a blemish appearing, I use the cleanser and toner and the next day it's gone. Don't know if this was the intended purpose but it works for me!

I have finally found a cleanser to keep my oily skin at bay. This cleanser combined with the toner and face fluid has been wonderful for my combination skin. It keeps the t-zone from getting oily, but doesn't dry out the rest of my face. Don't want to be without this product so I hope it comes back in stock soon. Love all the Rice products.

This is the best cleanser for the combination skin. It cleans my oily part very well, and does not dry up the rest of my face. I have tried many different brands, and I will definitely buy this one again. By the way, the price is very reasonable. One bottle lasts for a long time.

I was in the Dallas store just snooping around and not really looking for anything in particular when the salesgirl had me try this Foaming Rice Cleanser, just for fun! FANTASTIC!!! I love the wonderful clean fresh fragrance and it makes my skin feel great, not tight and sticky! Love it!

This has been the first ever cleanser I have used that is not harsh on my face and uses such a small amount of product to cover and cleanse my whole entire face without leaving it with a dried-out feeling.

I simply love this product! I initially bought the toner and mattifier and loved them and then I bought the cleanser. It is very gentle to the skin and makes it very soft. My skin has never felt so bright, non-greasy and fresh for a whole day. I love this rice line for my morning regimen and I will never change it with anything else.

I purchased this product after reading the reviews, I have oily skin and I have to say this product is awesome. It does not strip away moisture from my face, it definitely controls shine and it smells heavenly. I also follow with the Almond Apple Toner Cider as I read from one of the reviews and I have to say my pores have dramatically shrunk in size within 2-1/2 weeks.....Love it

I was uncertain about switching from the Lavender line for oily skin to the red rice line, but after my local L'Occitane branch gave me a free sample, I'm hooked! My face felt clean, fresh, and pleasingly taut after using it. I even got unsolicited comments about how my skin was really "glowing" lately!

This product line is wonderful for oily/combo skin. In a lifetime of searching futily for something to control the oil slick on my t-zone, this is the first time I've had soft smooth clean feeling skin, ALL DAY! I've gone from complete skeptic to true believer. Please market this to women as well as men. Anyone undecided - just do it. Start with the travel size like me and you'll be ordering the full sizes right away. Get the matte fluid (heaven on your skin) and the soothing toner too.

I love this cleanser! I wandered in and was looking around to find something I can use in summer, when my skin tends to be slightly oily, thanks to NYC's humidity. Works well so far and I like the smell. The first cleanser that works for me after numerous products before. My face feels normal minus all the oil. My face feels light and I'm very happy not having to worry about washing my face again and again.

Very good--this is a creamy, luxurious, fresh-smelling cleanser that works wonders for oily skin without stripping and irritating it. In fact, it doesn't even feel like you're using a cleanser for oily skin because it's so well balanced--gentle yet effective. However, I do find that I have to rinse and repeat to fully clean my skin. For this reason, I wouldn't mind if it were a bit more astringent. After all, it is meant for oily complexions. Still, I definitely recommend.

It does not dry up skin after washing, yet washes off clean. It makes a perfect pair with lavender vinegar.

A lot of products for oily/combination skin strip out the moisture from the skin totally, but this one doesn't. After washing, my skin doesn't feel tight right away. After that, I spray on the Almond Apple Toning Cider, and my skin is ready for any moisturizer I choose or even skip this if I'm just at home.

i have always been oily in the t-zone area and nothing on the market seemed to work until I discovered the red rice! This product works! I use the cleanser, toner and moisturiser and I no longer end up with an oil slick in my T-zone area. It is wonderful! My face feels great, isn't shiny and my pores seem to be shrinking a bit after only a couple of weeks. Thank you! I've been waiting for a product like this from you!
