First L'Occitane product I had. My college roommate gave me the travel size when I was complaining about how bad my hands would chap during the winter. She gave me that lotion and I never turned back. Never greasy, super hydrating, no more chapped hands. I also use it on my elbows where i have eczema and it has decreased dramatically. I LOVE ThIS PRODUCT and it got me hooked on L'Occitane.

The shea butter hand cream is the best hand cream I've ever used! I used to choose some different brands of hand cream. Honestly, it is really hard to choose a great one which has a wonderful smell and a comfortable felling. But shea butter does both!!

This hand cream is amazing! I work with money, so my hands are almost constantly dry. This stuff is rich enough to keep your skin soft, but not at all oily. I'm sensitive to certain scents, and I find the scents of most moisturizers unpleasantly overwhelming. This was the first moisturizer that I really like. The scent is light and lovely. I highly recommend this product.

The best hand cream on the market, period. I'm reiterating what others have said, but it works incredibly well on dry hands. It leaves no sticky residue, and it smells wonderful.

I guess I found the perfect hand cream! Thank you L'Occitane for the gift - I am hooked. It works miracles on dry hands (but you do need to reapply several times during the day), and the scent is great - even my husband uses it, just because he loves the scent so much. It absorbs quickly too.

This is best thing in the world. I get really dry hands in the fall/winter time they get crocodilian and crackly. this is the only hand creme that has lasting results. this will always be at hand (pun intended)!!

I love the hand cream. I only recently tried it due to the free hand cream sample. We do not have a store nearby and was recently out of town where I received my free hand cream and was in the store for 30 minutes and spent over $100. I really loved the verbena scent. This is the best hand cream in the world if you struggle with dry hands from working with fabric or yarn, hand washing, or other issues in dry climates or during the Winter. The best part about it is the non-greasy texture, which is unusual in a cream so rich. I absolutely love it.

This is a great cream and definitely one of my favorites! Very thick and absorbs quickly. My only complaint is that it doesn't hold up well if you have to wash your hands a lot during the day.

To be honest, I do not find this hand creme as moisturizing as I like. I have used your Body Lotion and loved the moisture it put into my skin. I have dry skin.

My hands just drank this wonderful cream up! The sales associate exclaimed a couple times how wonderful this would be on my dry skin up here (New Mexico) in winter at 7500 ft. elevation & boy!! was she right! I just have to add that this is the only product I've used that left my hands feeling like they're freshly treated in a pariffin wax drip....ooohhh luscious!!

This is a dream lotion. It is rich but not oily or greasy. Recently after doing some major winter house cleaning and not wearing gloves, my hands were red and severely dry. With this lotion, my hands were cured the next day. Thank you for the FB offer and fantastic freebie. Best go to purse and kitchen lotion ever!

I've never been to L'Occitane, even have passed the boutiques whenever I'm in France or at home in the USA. I saw an offer for a free mini Shea Butter hand cream online and I thought I would give it a shot! The cream is so luxurious and soothing; just a pea-sized drop was enough to heal my constantly dry hands! I will be back to purchase a full size for the winter months!

This hand cream is extremely greasy when you put it on. It does not have a pleasant fragrance. My hands were so dry from using this product. I was surprised it was not as good as I thought it would be especially since the ingredients are supposedly good for you.

I love Shea Butter Hand Cream! I have extremely dry skin which has prompted me to try many of the hand creams on the market. L'Occitane's is by far the best. It absorbs quickly, a little goes a long way, and the scent is light and pleasant. I can't ask for more from a hand cream!

Love this cream! A little goes a long way. It does feel heavy going on, but in several minutes, it feels great! It also lasts thru multiple hand washings and hand sanitizer using. Love the smell, too!! HIGHLY recommend!! :o)

OK, I picked up my free sample of the Shea Butter hand cream, plus I bought the body lotion and a bar of the milk soap. I love it all. I've used so many types of soap over the years. I've been using tone. Well I will never go back to buying regular soap.I will for now on use the milk soap. When I get out of the shower I really feel clean. I got the 1oz for free during their FaceBook promotion, and all I can say is that there is a reason why they gave such a generous offer; once you use it, you're hooked! After the first use, I instantly fell in love! I did some research on this brand & it turns out that they're behind the Les Couvant des Minimes line, which was my favorite brand to use before they stopped selling in the US! After I finish my BBW stuff, I'm definitely shopping here! It's a little pricier, but you pay for quality.

Looks and feels pretty moisturizing and even greasy as some say, but this lasts for only a minute or two. Your hands are dry again pretty soon. For the price, I want to give it only 1 star. I will not repurchase it again.

I have used this hand cream for "years", when L'Occitane was only being sold in Barney's NY (in Calif.), before there were the individual stores and I LOVE it! I even turned my mom onto it years ago, along with the body lotion and bar soap. I love the clean smell, which reminds me of a "baby product"'s, scent. So needless to say L'Occitane, I am your BIGGEST FAN!!!

I love it! I have sensitive skin but it doesn't irritate my skin like many other hand creams do. I'm not in love with the scent, but it doesn't bother me at all either. (In love with the smell of the verbena products). Definitely worth it! I have both the 5.2 oz that stays at home and the mini hand cream to take with me on the go. My boyfriend uses mine all the time, I think he may love the product more than I do - so definitely great for both men and women. :)

Very smoothing and ultra moisturizing hand cream with a very light armona and not greasy. Just a small dab is all one needs to have very soft hands. I love this hand cream. It's a bit too greasy but a little goes a long way. The smaller size that I got as a gift is easily tucked in a pocket or purse. Although it works pretty well, I have found other, organic and less expensive ones that are more effective. I also do not like the smell which reminds me of diaper ointment or old lady smell.

I had not tried this handcream until last month, but I am a convert! It is nongreasy, absorbs well and lasts til the next handwashing. I do not ususally buy scented bodycare items but the fragrence in this handcream is light and not offensive or annoying. This handcream is perfect for the harsh, northern winters.

The best hand cream ever. It might seem pricey but it lasts forever and it's so rich that you need a very small amount.I have extremely dry hands and they get even worse during Chicago winters - this cream is the only thing that helps my hands. I've tried many hand creams and they have all been too light and don't moisturize my dry hands enough. This hand cream, however, works on my very dry hands. The cream is not very greasy, but it coats very well. The smell is not too overpowering, but still light and fresh. A plus to this hand cream is that since it contains shea butter, scars that were on the back of my hands from IVs (due to being sick in the hospital for a while) vanished very fast with daily use of it.

I've been using this hand cream for years. Every winter I used to get cracks all around my nails thanks to the dry air compounded by the daily use of chalk (as a teacher). Ever since I started using this, I've had far fewer problems. The moment I feel a crack, I apply this cream frequently and within a day or so, the crack starts to disappear. A small dab moisturizes wonderfully and absorbs into the skin leaving my hands feeling very soft. I refuse to be without it!

I love many other L'Occitane products, but I am not a fan of this one. It is too greasy and irritates my skin. I like the packaging - I just wish they would come out with a sensitive skin version like the body lotion.

This hand cream IS the BEST on the market. I know, for I have tried every hand cream I come across. When I use this hand cream, I also rub it into my bare fingernails along with the pure shea butter. My nails have never looked so good with all of the ridges gone. I am certain many of you know what I am referring to. My hands are always soft,fresh looking and non-greasy. I find this product to be of superior quality. I buy six tubes at a time and use it on a daily basis. I have given this as gifts, and it is always well received. This is an investnment in the hydration and care of your skin. How could you possibly put a price on something like that? This is in the Four Seasons Hotel as part of the amenities for a reason. When you want, and expect the best, this Cream is all you need.

This is the best hand cream out there! In the winter, my knuckles crack and bleed from the cold and dry air. This is the only stuff that works. I also develop patches of eczema on the insides of my elbows and the corners of my eyelids, and this works better than the prescription I was previously using. I will never be without it!!

Love, love, love this hand cream! It's great for even super dry skin and comes in a great portable tube that easily fits into my purse. I have serious skin issues on my hands and every time I wash them, they tend to crack and bleed. This fixes the problem and leaves my hands nice and soft. This is probably one of the best hand creams I have ever used.

I have sensitive dry skin & have tried every kind of hand/body lotion. I received L'Occitane hand cream as a gift & I was not familiar with the product. When I used it for the first time, I liked the way my hands felt so soft & smooth. I work in a hospital and do a lot of handwashing & my hands would be so dry and irritated. Words are not enough to describe how amazing this hand cream is. I have given this many times as gift to my mother, and to all of my girlfriends. My wife and I love to leave the cold, dry climate of Wyoming and escape to Colorado for but only a day. Absolute wonderful, luxurious indulgence. I keep this at work and every time I put it on it is so refreshing. Since I live in a desert climate the extra Shea butter is so soothing to sun exposed hands. I never realized until I got "older" that your hands seem to age faster than the rest of your body if you don't give them extra care. Just received this cream for Christmas! Leaves skin soft and hydrated for a long time after application. Not quite as quickly absorbed as the Biotherm hand cream which is the only cream I have used that leaves absolutely no greasy residue, but I think this one by L'Occitane does a better job at keeping my hands moisturized. I was in Paris on my honeymoon. I neglected to bring any hand lotion and it was November, so I popped into the nearest drugstore and happened to grab a tube of this lotion (only because I could decipher that it was hand lotion!). I'm only 30, but I feel like this is the moisturizer I will still be using when I am 90. The smell is subtle and pleasant, and the lotion itself is luxurious and mega-softening without any greasiness. I have tried a zillion hand creams (as a preschool teacher, I am a constant hand-washer!) but this is the only one that does everything perfectly. The $10 tubes last way longer than you'd expect, and are affordable enough to keep a couple around. Bottom line: I love this stuff.

I use a variety of L'Occitane products, from the Immortelle line for daily use to citrus and green tea shower gels for summer; my very favorite product is this Shea Butter Hand Cream. If I can only buy one thing from L'Occitane, this would be it. I use it year 'round; I give it for birthdays and Christmas to friends and family and even people at the office. My husband and I both get eczema from time to time. No moisturizer has worked nearly as well as this for healing our skin. There are natural anti-inflammatory properties to shea butter which may explain why it helps with eczema. In any case, this cream is super thick and lovely, it rubs right into your skin and keeps your hands soft all day.

I reccommended this product to all my friends and relatives and now I have them hooked. When the holidays come around, I go to L'Occitane for their gifts and always select this hand cream with the Shea butter tin sample in all their gifts from L'Occitane.

I have to constantly wash my hands having a newborn in the house, but this product helps keep them from drying out. I use nothing else. Great value for the money because you don't have to use a lot.

I have been addicted to this stuff since 2002! I use it every night before bed. It is the Tiffany's of hand cream. The texture and consistency is like butter, and the fragrance is lovely as well. I carry the travel size in my purse and use it for all kinds of emergency fixes. It has saved the day more than once when I had dry skin on my legs, or had to touch up my hairstyle by smoothing down unruly dry fly aways.

I make sure I have at least 6 of these in my possession. Because they are so small, they can be tucked into everything and anything. I also give these away liberally and everyone who has received this product later tells me how much they liked it. Even my 88 year old father uses shea butter hand cream on his formally cracked, dry winter skin.

this hand cream is so silky and nice. it also smells good, but if you like a sweet scent, try the cherry blossom one. this moisturizes like no other hand cream. i carry the little travel size one with me all the time.

I work for a company now who sells a hand cream in a smaller size that is twice the price. I have to say, it doesn't even compare to L'Occitane. I am guilty of sending more than one customer to the store nearby to try this one....

Really the only hand cream that works for me. Without it my hands hurt from being so dry. The scent is wonderful as well, not overpowering. The Shea Butter blend works wonders.

this is a terrific product, - the only thing that really makes my hands feel soft, in both winter and summer - and that feeling lasts for hours. i keep the large size in my room and use it in the morning and and before I go to bed, but the small size in perfect for taking with me in my handbag, small size is perfect for long business flights on planes. and another thing - at night I use the shea together with the lavender hand cream - my husband really likes the combination of the scents!!

This is my favorite hand cream ever! I live in a really dry place, and this keeps my hands soft and protected without greasiness or lots and lots of applications. The light scent is perfect - not too overwhelming for co-workers or family that may have difficulty with strong odors.

Hands down, L'Occitane has the best hand creams on the market. My hands are in and out of water all day long and this beauty has staying power. Most other hand creams or lotions lose their effectiveness after the first time in water. I do have to admit I prefer the lavender cream over the shea butter. It seemed that I had to use a little less (maybe because of the lavender AOC oil) and I am partial to the fragrance. I bought it because it was 3.00 cheaper than the lavender. What was I thinking?

This is the only hand cream I will ever use. As a elementary school teacher and having to constantly wash my hands all the time, my hands get really dry. However, using this hand cream keeps my skin youthful, soft, and moisturized. I LOVE THIS HAND CREAM! It's the best!

Ever since I used this cream before I go to bed every night, I have not had a problem with cracked, dry cuticles. It smells subtly good and is completely non-greasy, which is rare to find in a hand cream so rich!

I've used this cream for years; it's ultra-rich. It's especially good for roughened heels. I keep a small tube by my bed and use it last thing at night for soft hands and feet in the morning!

The L'Occitane hand cream with 20% shea butter has the perfect combination of scent and moisturizer. It has a light scent that is very pleasant so you can apply as much and as often as you like. I find it to be well absorbed and does not blend away when applied. I always have plenty "on hand" at work, home and in my purse.

Nice hand cream. it has a great smell. When I apply it on my hand, I feel that there is a thin layer there protecting my skin, but I dont feel oily at all. And the smell last quite a bit by the way. I like the tube and the woody-like seal paper, because they make the product look back-to-nature.

I have tried every hand cream available. This is the absolute best. In wintertime, my hands get so dry that they crack and bleed if I do not use this every night. I work in health care and have to wash my hands multiple times daily. This is the only product that has been truly helpful in managing my dry skin. It smells wonderful, and absorbs quickly without being sticky or greasy. Thank you for your wonderful product.

I always bring hand cream because my hands are very dry when I wash with water, or something. But! some hand cream made my hands more dry. This hand cream does not! It's very smooth and it protects my hands from dryness. It's great!

This si the best hand cream I have ever used. I have extremely dry hands, especially in the winter. A few years ago, a friend got me a tube of the Shea Butter Hand Cream. Ever since then, my hands have been softer. I also use the hand cream on my son's sensitive dry skin, and just a few uses makes his skin softer and more moist for days. Great product!

Shea Butter Hand Cream is the Best!! I work in the airline industry and constantly wash my hands throughout the day. At the end of the day my hands were painfully dry and cracked. I had tried many products, some dermatologist recommended, with no success. The effects were short term at best. This product gives long-lasting relief and healing. It absorbs quickly and has a pleasant fragrance. It is definitely a "must have in the bag" item!
