Amber Eau de Toilette

Smells so romantic and feminine and just beautiful! Its very warm and sweet smelling, not musky or spicy. Almost has a hint of vanilla. Great scent for a sensual woman.

I was thrilled to see Ambre available again. What was very disappointing was when you last offered it, the bottle was twice the amount for slightly less money. I bought it anyway because I loved it.

I simply love this fragrance and always panic when it's not available that it's again been discontinued. I know it's not possible to stock up too far ahead as it will not last forever. However,it might help if the perfume again came tightly wrapped in plastic as it did in the past. I too would like to see the Ambre lotion returned. But most of all please do not discontinue this fragrance!

Thank you so much for bringing Ambre back, and please, please, please keep it permanent! I was devastated when it was discontinued, and deliriously happy when I saw that it was back. This is by far the best amber fragrance ever, and I've tried more than I can count. Nothing comes even close. Ambre is smooth, warm, comforting, and yet elegant and sensual. I hope it will be around for years to come, and I would love if you brought back the Ambre lotion as well.

Amber was my signature favorite for years and was so sad when it was discontinued! SO GLAD it is back! Found it again at a shop in Paris and bought several bottles as back up! A fragrance that makes everything right in the world for me!

I would give this perfume 15 of your leaves if possible, that is how much I LOVE it! I was given this perfume maybe 12 or 13 yrs ago as a gift for Christmas by my (favorite) aunt and one day I just decided to try it, well it has been love ever since. I wear a honeysuckle or sweeter lotion and then layer on the amber to "musky" it up some and I cannot keep the guys away!! I do get a lot of compliments and I tell the truth that it is Amber by L'OCCITANE, but I NEVER give away the layering secret.

I receive SO many compliments on this perfume. I typically wear it over a sweeter lotion and the mix is just perfect. I will NEVER switch perfumes, so I hope this one is around for a VERY long time! I have had so many men ask me what I wear, so that they can buy it for their wives or girlfriends. This is the perfect scent.

This is such a great scent! The woodiness is so fresh and combines really well with the sweetness of the amber; it is simple yet complex; spicy yet earthy and fresh, sweet and sexy yet soft enough to be universally appreciated and liked. I think it could also easily be worn by a man who prefers a bit of sweetness with his woody scents.

PLEASE!!! Don't discontinue this again. I went into L'OCCITANE at Somerset Mall and when I smelled this I had to have it. This is one of the best amber scents I have encountered besides fragrance attars. Keep this and you'll keep me as a customer!

I've been without this fragrance for over a year. Why is it not available? Well, ladies, I was having a discussion with my sister about how much I love this perfume and how I could only find it on Ebay for over $200. Well... I just ordered it on QVC!!! We'll see if it actually shows up on my doorstep. I will welcome it with wide open arms!!

Amber is an unforgettable fragrance and it's upsetting that ONCE AGAIN it is not in stock! I would like to buy a bottle for my mother on Mother's Day and am extremely disappointed that L'OCCITANE has discontinued it again. I urge all Amber fans to boycott buying any L'OCCITANE item until they re-stock this fragence (or at least give a reason why it's out of stock so often!)

Hurrah! I have been rationing my last bottle of Ambre ever since I realized that it was being discontinued. Please keep this one in your scent lineup!

This is a great scent for men too. I wear it all the time. Too bad the bottle looks so feminine. I like the old simple packaging better. oh, well as long as it smells the same, I'll just hide the bottle in my sock drawer.

I'm very very disappointed with this eau de toilette. I thought it would kind of replace Eau D'Yparie, but unfortunately, it does not. The smell reminds me of some ointment for bruises and bumps my mom used for us where I grew up, in France. The fragrance is too strong, too potent and too "flashy" for me. I'm sorry I spent $48 on something that would go to waste. I would love to have some Eau d'Yparie again.

I looked for this before and was told it was discontinued so I have been sparingly using what I had. I put it on today and realized how much I love this fragrance. I decided to search the internet high and low so imagine my surprise and happiness to see it is back! Thank you so much. I bought 2 bottles..just in case.

Ahhhh...talk about aromatherapy! It's musky, spicy, woodsy, and has a lovely top note of rich vanilla. I often spray this on before I go to bed, and I swear it helps me calm down and fall into a restful, happy sleep. It's also wonderful for day. I think many would say it is a better fall/winter fragrance because it is a heavier, non-citrus fragrance, but if you love an intoxicating woodsy, sensual fragrance, you will want to wear this all the time. It also blends well with other scents.

I am a loyal customer, and Amber is my favorite scent. I get compliments on it almost every single day. However, I hear that you'll be discontinuing it. Is this true? I am extremely upset by this news. I understand that it is a very popular scent, so why would this be? Is there something we fans of Amber can do to keep it on the market? I bought this when I was looking for a new scent and a friend had given me a gift certificate. With each changing season I discover a new layer to the perfume and each one makes me feel lovely. Among my friends I'm "the girl who smells soooo good."

I totally love this. It was my first perfume from here and I love it. It is a permanent staple in my fragrance collection. I always have to have the big bottle, but would love to have a roller ball one to take with me. It's such a warm fragrance and it's not too heavy like other place's Amber products.

This is a warming scent for winter that I tuck in a corner of my top drawer to bring out when the weather turns cool and has a certain autumn light. It goes into the bag that you begin to use when it was time to put away all the summery totes and sacs. I agree with Sara. I originally bought the small bottle but quickly turned around for the larger size. I love, LOVE, this scent. I also love to mix it with the D'Iparie...I can not tell you how many times people tell me I smell good. Men seem to notice it a great deal.
