Mandarin Satsuma Tree - Citrus reticulata cv.

The satsuma mandarin (Rutaceae family) is a Japanese variety and a particularly hardy version of the true mandarin. Its fruit is similar to the mandarin fruit, with a peel that remains green in places when the fruit is mature.
This mandarin tree is widely cultivated in Japan, where its seedless fruits are much appreciated. It is also planted in gardens since it forms very attractive, somewhat pendulous bushes.
