Citrus Verbena Summer Fragrance

I visited NYC four years ago and bought this at the Rockefeller Center store. I typically do not use perfume as I feel it can be overpowering to me. I also feel like the fragrance changes after wearing it. This wonderful product has changed my mind about wearing fragrance! I love it and my kids tell me how wonderful I smell. I just feel clean and happy when I wear this scent. I panicked when I ran out until I made another trip to your very friendly store in NYC again and got my new bottle!

I was introduced to this fragrance at the Times Square store last month and was hooked! They should make sure to have plenty of it in stock, then periodically spray it outside on Broadway :) I've already purchased my second bottle of it to make sure I don't run out!

This is my favorite perfume. I wear it all year long and sometimes mix in with Amarige by Givenchy. When I can't find it I go crazy. The light citrus scent is clean and refreshing. It makes me think of summer even on days when it's 24 degrees outside. I highly recommend this product and its sister products like the lotion and hair conditioner.

As far as fragrances go I'm not usually one for citrus, but this is amazing. The cedar in the drydown makes this a fragrance that is both clean AND warm. It has great staying power too.

I bought this fragrance for my daughter as a Christmas present, as I do every year on Christmas and her birthday. It is her favorite fragrance and I love the clean citrus smell.

I love this! I've tried many perfumes, bought some really expensive ones and would stop wearing them after a week or so. This one, I been wearing every day since I bought it. I even spray it on my (winter!) scarf. Light and fresh. A definite keeper!

I love the fresh scent of lemon and grapefruit combined. The scent is so captivating during the summer months. It is so light and refreshing like driving through fields of orange blossoms that perfume the air. If you like fruity and very light scent, definitely try this one.

This smells incredible! I kept wondering what that fabulous, fresh smell was around me all day and then remembered it was me. The scent is clean, fresh and light, perfect for the summer. My new favorite!

Please add more to this line of Citrus Verbena .. It is such a fresh fragrance .. I haven't really used fragrance because most are way to heavy .. I used body .. I tried the Citrus Verbena body cream and now use both the summer fragrance and body cream .. So light and so fresh ! ! I love it ! !

I love this scent! I bought one bottle last summer and another this year. I can't get enough of it, smells so clean. I hate floral scents so this is just perfect for me. Just a note, I bought my first bottle from Drugstore.com and it came damaged, the top was damaged so I couldn't spritz, the bottle ended up being wasted since most of it spilled. 2nd bottle I got from Nordstrom, no damage since it wasn't shipped. Enjoying this whole line.

I bought this in your store in Portland, Oregon, on our last trip and I love the smell. It reminds me on many summers in France. Please keep this scent. I will buy it again.

This is a most wonderful fragrance! Like another reviewer I can't get enough. It's an anytime anywhere scent. I even often wear it to bed; nothing like fresh crisp sheets and this scent to send me off to dreamland! Please never, ever discontinue this fragrance; please.

If you love the smell of fresh citrus, you will love this scent. Especially long lasting when you layer the moisturizer on first. This scent carries well and is long lasting. Layering helps to preserve the fragrance all day. People always comment on this fragrance; it is my exclusive warm weather scent.

I love this fragrance! I think the best way to describe this is freshness in a bottle. And apparently it reflects some of the roots of Provence, France. I actually spray this in my car to use as an air freshener. It makes it smell clean and bright. Every time I get in I take a deep breath and it calms me down. Thanks!

Everything about the Citrus Verbena Summer Fragrance is delightful! As a busy mom of three young children, I can't tell you how lovely and fresh this scent makes me feel. Scent is one of the most important memory triggers, and this scent brings back memories of sunny south of France... Arles, Aix, and Antibes and one delightful walk through the Roman Forum in Italy where the lemon trees were laden with little yellow fruits. I'm asking for this one again this Mother's Day. You should to.

I love the Verbena scents so I think this would be a great gift for MOM It's not perfumey...its light and crisp. It feels as if you're a little bit cooler when you wear it.

Love this fragrance! It is a fresh, clean, green fragrance. I do admit it does not last long but citrus fragrances don't. Please expand the line to include shower gel, soap etc. Also, an eau de parfum would be great!

I love your products, but am disappointed that the Citrus Verbena is gone from the Williamsburg outlet store(Virginia) and the lavender scent that is the French version, while nice, is not quite as delightful as a stronger version would be, to me anyway. Please bring back the Citrus Verbena, even to outlet stores, as the store that was once in Norfolk, VA has closed. That was disappointing. The sales people in the Williamsburg outlet store have been very helpful,however.

This fragrance is wonderful! It is light and fresh, citrus-y, and plain old Summer in a Bottle! Love it! My only dislike with this product is that it is not offered in a travel size; if you had that, I would be buying the smaller size as gifts for all my friends! Lovely fragrance! Make a smaller size!

I was first intoduced to the Verbena line on a trip to Turks and Caicos. ALL of the Citrus Verbena line smells so AMAZING! So much so that I dont want anyone else to even know about it so i can be the only one to smell that good! But i decided to write a testimonial so that hopefully L'Occitane never removes it, and I'll have it whenever I need it!

I am besotted!!! This is without doubt my new summer scent from this point on.

I want SO much to give this product 5 verbena leaves--it is the freshest, most joyous and fabulous way to start my every day. My only complaint--as with the other L'OCCITANE fragrances that I have tried--is that it has no staying power, even with four blasts, completely gone within a couple of hours. :(

I love the Citrus Verbena fragrance and have used the shower gel. This summer I bought the Summer fragrance. The wonderful fragrance is still there but I wish it had a bit more staying power. I feel like I need to reapply a couple of times a day.

I am 63 and have worn this fragrance everyday for the past three years. I love when my husband leans down to kiss my neck and tells me I smell good. Or when my grand daughter picking up my scarf says "this smells like Gigi". It is what I call a personal scent...one has to get close to notice and in my opinion that what a fragrance is all about.

Bought this for my wife for Mothers day, she didn't care for it. Se always uses my 4711 colonge so I figured she would like this. I think the scent is nice and light. When it dries down the scent is even better.

Fabulous fragrance but scent fades very quickly

it was gross- I returned the bottle. I thought I was buying the regular Verbena but this was definitely not it.

Love this fragrance!!! I put it on a tiny cotton circle pad in my car. At stoplights, I sniff the pad. Ahhh! You might say it is an expensive air freshener....but I think it is great. Also have spritzed a cotton circle pad and put it inside my bra. My skin does not hold onto the scent very long, but it smells so good....I don't care. Multiple applications work for me. Will try layering with lotion...which I just bought today.

No matter what other fragrances I try, I always come back to Summer Verbena. Even after a wintry day, slogging through the slush, I'll get a "You smell so wonderful" in the elevator going home. And I DO ! ! ! And so will YOU!!!

The initial smell is great, but after 20 minutes, and I'm not kidding.....it disappears! What a waste of $52.00, plus Tax! Everyone has commented on the fact......of how you have to reapply several times through out the day! Would never purchase this again!!!!!!!!

I live in Florida and love the splash or spray scents that are cooling and light. I have used (used up!) Verbena and the Citrus Verbena; just bought Eau Captivante and it is so refreshing... another great product -- a very generous amount in a bottle that begs to be used lavishly.

Beautiful citrus fragrance but it disappears as soon as you apply. I would have to carry the bottle around all day long and reapply it constantly!

I love the smell of lemon and grapefruit. It's very light and fresh, but it doesn't last long. I will try Verbena EDT instead.

I love the citrus verbena fragrance. I used to use Annick Goutal Hadrien, but this is superior and much more reasonably priced. Please make soap and travel products in this great fragrance. I live in an area of the country that is warm most of the year. This is the perfect citrus fragrance.

I received a sample of this fragrance in the mail. I like it much better than the regular verbena scent. It is so light and not overpowering. I can't handle many fragrances because they give me a headache but this one is light enough not to cause a headache. I also prefer more fruity scents over flower scents so this combination suits me well.

I can't get enough of this scent. It's got a clean grapefruit-lemon scent with absolutely none of the bitterness that one usually finds with other grapefruit scents. The scent is very light, and I love to spray it all over right after my shower. I've gotten many compliments on it, and I feel so clean when I wear it. It's perfect for everyone, man, woman, or young teen. I hope that L'Occitane brings it back, because I will certainly buy it again.

Light refreshing scent, perfect for South Florida. I have not experienced any adverse reactions (headaches, sneezing, irritation) while wearing it.

So far, each of my L'Occitane purchases have been well worth the money! This product is definitely a keeper :)

I just adore this summer fragrance. I purchased this last year at the Orlando store. It's so clean, light and fresh, I just want to run through a field when I put this on. I use this all summer here in NY then I continue using it in Florida throughout the winter. I am NEVER without my Citrus Verbena! Get all the Citrus Verbana products while you can, they will be discountinued after the summer and they do sell out quickly. The fragrance smells even better if you layer w/ shower gel & lotion

This is a light, refreshing, charming fragrance for the hot summer months. Here in humid Florida, I spray it on after my shower and love its subtle soft citrus scent. Perfect!
