Victoire Gerez is only 24 but has already been running her own florist shop for two years, ‘L’Atelier de Vik’ in Aix-en-Provence. This little green oasis has its own identity, ‘a rustic, and slightly bohemian,’ style, as she likes to tell us, ‘Clients come looking for something particular here,’ she adds. Even if the florist makes it a point of honor to not reproduce clichés, she explains that she knows how to adapt to the client’s wishes.

As the Christmas period approaches, Victoire Gerez is already thinking about the bouquets; for her, it’s essential to add a touch of nature to the Christmas table. Her ideal composition for Christmas Eve is a perfect mix of white roses, flowering cabbage and eucalyptus for the greenery, to which she adds a few flowers in pastel tones for a touch of freshness.

Her tips for a handsome Christmas bouquet? A little glitter spray over the flowers! Victoire Gerez also confirms that it’s possible to put together a very quick bunch with greenery from the garden to which you add dried cotton flowers, a few roses and flowering cabbage, without forgetting a little touch of Christmas, with painted chestnut shells.
