L’Isle-sur-Sorgue is a city that will most certainly cast a spell on you. Located at the gates of the Luberon region, this city of 22,000 inhabitants and strewn with canals flaunting 14 waterwheels is one of a kind. The sound of water is omnipresent in this pretty city, as is traditional Provencal heritage. A sublime Roman collegiate church, Notre-Dame des Anges, encloses a magnificent organ dating from the 17th century.

This church is located on the city’s central square where a market offering local produce and typical Provençal goods takes place every Thursday and Sunday morning. But what really sets the city apart since the sixties are the antique dealers and traders that have become an institution in France but also in Europe. It’s a city that lovers of beautiful things wouldn’t miss for the world.
