Art Visit Provence: An Innovative Concept by Alexandra Blanc Véa

Residents and visiting tourists take note! Launched in 2009 in Marseille by Alexandra White Véa, Art Visit Provence offers a range of tours of the city, each more quirky and unexpected than the next. The principle? To discover the city and its history with an artistic eye...

Alexandra Blanc Véa, a professional guide-interpreter from Paris, is at the core of the brand Art Visit Provence, developed in 2009. After falling in love with Marseille, she explains that she wished to spotlight the cultural richness of the city by offering the public new and original guided tours in small groups of twenty people.

On the program are three totally eclectic itineraries that should not be missed! A tour devoted to the “Saga of Marseille Brands” and their secrets with a visit to companies such as Puyricard or the jeweler Pellegrin; another dedicated to visiting the finest contemporary art galleries of the city; and finally, the newest addition, the “Street Art” circuit that takes place around the Cours Julien square and aims to discover “a trendy new art form” through exhibitions, live performance and meetings with graffiti artists.

As for the prices, the advertised price is 10 euros per entry for a visit of about one and a half hours. For reservations, there are two solutions to choose from: via the Marseille Tourist Office, with whom Alexandra White Véa is in partnership, and it is also possible to register via the official Art Visit Provence website.
