Interior Design in Provence with Alexandre Lafourcade

In Provence, certain highbrows dedicate their time to preserving the region’s heritage. It’s the case for the interior designer Alexandre Lafourcade, based in Saint-Rémy de Provence. Let’s meet him.

Architecture is a family affair for the Lafourcades: Bruno, the father, set up his architecture agency in 1968 specialized in restoring old homes. And today the mission continues for this agency today established in Saint-Rémy de Provence to which he welcomed his son Alexandre who manages today the activity after 20 years of collaboration. As for Dominique Lafourcade, she designs charming and astounding gardens. This family has the preservation of old architecture in their heart but that doesn’t rule out distilling some modernity in to their propositions. An architecture, decoration and landscape practice that sketches out the contours of today’s Provençal home, where modernity integrates tradition, and vice-versa.

Alexandre Lafourcade welcomes us to an exceptional home, a pure expression of his work and a truly rich place.
