L'OCCITANE Makes a Commitment to the Environment

Since its creation in 1976 by Olivier Baussan, L'OCCITANE en Provence has had at its heart a respect for the environment. Today more than ever, these questions are at the center of the Manosque based brand’s commitments. An exhibition at the L’Occitane Museum attests to this approach.

The Occitane Museum, located just next to the company’s headquarters and factory, welcomes an important exhibition, a presentation of the brand’s ecological engagement. With its sustainable industry department, the Provencale company develops alongside local producers a predominantly organic production: an approach that is carried out hand in hand with the almond producers in the south of France or angelica producers in the Drome region.
