L’Occitane Eco–Refills: A Gesture for the Environment!

Conscious of the environmental impact of its activities, today L’Occitane continues its commitment to the environment with a selection of thirteen eco-friendly refills. The goal? To act for the preservation of the environment and give bottles a second life.
By Justine Fiordelli

True to its environmental commitments, this year L’Occitane is adding new formulas to its eco-refill line, which now offers thirteen products. In keeping with its brand philosophy, the company has a number of different goals: to protect the environment and reduce waste, but also to give a second life to the packaging of your favorite products.

In 2014, the purchase of an eco-refill allows, according to the latest statistics, a 65% to 90% reduction in plastic compared to the original product. But that’s not all! By favoring packaging suppliers located close to its factory, the brand also intends to reduce transport-related CO2 emissions by 50%. This concrete commitment helps reduce the environmental impact of its activities and proposes solutions to consumers.
