Provence For Lovers

Provence has many lovely surprises in store for lovers! Between discovering the wild landscapes, the white sandy beaches or countryside walks, it is full of magical and romantic places to explore.

It is common knowledge that couples like to visit Provence. Whether for a weekend or a longer stay, everyone loves to meet in the heart of this gentle landscape, where relaxation and fresh air are the magic words. For starters, let’s head to Porquerolles! On this island near Hyères, the magical setting immediately summons seduction. White sandy beaches, palm trees, wild landscapes... everything is in place for couples to experience a unique moment.

More rustic, the village of Moutiers-Saint Mary near the Verdon Gorge is perfect for a weekend getaway. Voted as one of the "most beautiful villages in France," it has an ideal location conducive to romance. Here, lake, mountains and lavender fields stand alongside one another, without forgetting the presence of the famous Star of Moustiers. Suspended from a chain connecting the two rocks that tower over the village, it retains all its mystery.

And towards Aix-en-Provence, romance reaches its peak. Established in 1660, the gardens of the Bastide de Romegas offer a mesmerizing walk through boxwood and shady pines. Nearby, in Bouc Bel Air, the Albertas Gardens won’t fail to please. Here, musicians, painters and dancers are part of the decor and give the place a unique romantic atmosphere. Traveling around the region, lovers can also make stops at the foot of the Mont Sainte-Victoire, prized for its stunning panorama.
