Truffle lovers, from December 20 to January 15, 2014, the Domaine de Capelongue in Bonnieux has scheduled a date for you to come and enjoy this mushroom, known as “black gold,” in every way imaginable! Indeed, this boutique hotel’s restaurant is offering a special dinner that was conceived by its two Michelin starred chef Edouard Loubet. A member of a truffle appreciation society, “La Confrérie du Diamant Noir et de la Gastronomie”, he who was named “Chef of the Year 2011,” finds this little treasure on the Claparèdes Plateau, buried at the foot of Holm Oak trees, with the help of his dogs. Fascinated by the flavors of this mushroom, Edouard Loubet wanted to enhance it through recipes both creative and refined.

A truffle kir, corn juice and popcorn garnished with truffles, truffle pizza, and truffle crumble… just as many delights gourmets can enjoy during the holidays. Domaine de Capelongue also offers a special 3-night stay “2014 under the sign of the truffle” including one complimentary night, a special welcome and a gourmet dinner around this “black gold” between January 3 and 15, 2014; a wonderful idea gift for the holidays!
