The Immortelle Brightening Shield SPF40 offers triple action benefits to help minimize the appearance of wrinkles, unify the complexion and protect skin against the sun’s harmful ultra violet rays. A key product within the Immortelle Brightening collection, the Brightening Shield includes both Immortelle essential oil and Bellis Perennis (Daisy) extract. These Mediterranean “flowers of light” have complementary effects.

Immortelle essential oil helps minimize the appearance of wrinkles and make the skin appear younger looking while Bellis perennis extract helps skin appear more even toned. Our new formula includes Garden Nasturtium extract which enhances the skin’s natural ability to reflect light. Your complexion will look smoother and brighter, with a healthy, youthful glow. Additionally, skin is protected by mineral origin UV filters, to help prevent the appearance of dark spots caused by the sun. A combination of Sunflower, Ivy and Rice Loaf extracts fight against the harmful effects of pollution.

So glad I came across this sunscreen! It's completely wearable and not too thick and tacky like some SPFs that are higher than 20. I've been looking for an SPF of at least 40 and purchased this one based on the reviews. Not sure if it'll fade much for me as it's only been 2 weeks or so, but it leaves a gorgeous slight glow on my skin. I REALLY hope this isn't a limited edition! Don't know what I'd do without it!

I love this product in old package and in old formula. This new product also good, which never dry out my skin and never irritate. This is a very natural product which is much better than Chanel UV Essentiel SPF 50.

Incredible! I have combination skin, and was looking for an SPF product to protect my fair skin. I tried this serum, and was AMAZED by how quickly it absorbed into my skin. I do not feel greasy all day, and this is a true miracle! I highly, highly recommend this product to everyone that is looking for incredible SPF protection. Oh! I'm tanned, oily, extremely dehydrated and this is the best sunscreen I've used in a very long time to treat all of the things I hate about my skin: discoloration, large pores, dryness, oiliness, dullness and acne. I don't break out from this sunscreen and it alleviates me from having to layer on a moisturizer, a sunscreen then a primer. The guys in my family also give it a thumbs up and that says alot! The best SPF product in the whole collection and worth every penny spent. Exceptional!

I have spent years, and countless dollars, seeking a good sunscreen for my face - something I would be willing to use everyday. I hated the oily and shiney effects of the other products I tried. This is absolutely the best facial sunscreen available anywhere. I have very sensitive skin, and this product blends in instantly, leaves no white residue or shine, and my skin feels soft and balanced.

I love this UV shield! Anyone who hates wearing sunscreen due to chalkiness/smell NEEDS to try this! It is very light on my combo-oily skin, and doesn't leave that white finish like most mineral sunscreens. It also has the most amazing fresh scent! It's like running through a field of daisies and freshly mowed grass. If you have dry skin, you'll definitely want to layer this over a moisturizer or serum.

I switched from the Angelica UV shield, to the Shea Ultra Moisturizing Fluid, and now to the Immortelle UV shield. The first two had strong scents, felt like I was wearing sunscreen, and broke me out. The brightening UV shield applies like water/serum and then disappears. I did not feel like I had a mask on my face, and my skin could breathe. I definitely recommend this for oily/combo skin, or anybody that doesn't want to feel like they have sunscreen on their face.

I have sensitive skin so I bought this spf based on the reviews. I had breakouts after 3 days of using it and it's so expensive. L'occitane is way over price and the products are not even as effective as their descriptions. I'm not gonna invest my skin on this expensive L'occitane.

I am new to L'OCCITANE, so this is the very first product I purchased. I am extremely disappointed with this product. I started breaking out a few days after use, which is so unusual for me since I don't have sensitive skin. Every time I put this on I feel like I am wearing a mask. The worst thing is that L'OCCITANE obviously does not stand behind its products since they have a no return/exchange policy. I will never purchase another product from this company again...

I used this product and it is the best SPF out there. I work for a spa and my fiance purchases all of my products. I would not trade this product in for anything else. I have terrible hyperpigmentation. It tones down my skin color and evens out my skin tone. I love this product.

This is a great, light-weight sunscreen. It seems to provide more moisture than the Immortelle Very Precious Fluid SPF 40, but the scent is also stronger.

Let me start off by saying how much I adore this sunscreen! When I was first using the brightening regimen I wouldn't cleanse in the morning and would go straight to applying this. It doesn't work like that and will come off without cleansing before hand. It smells like flowers and really works! I love it!
