Immortelle de Corse Eau de Parfum

The reviews when I wear this are mixed...people either love it or hate it. I've been told I smell amazing, like sweet honey, amber and flowers...and I've been told I smell like sweet pipe tobacco. As I enjoy this fragrance I will continue to wear it. Like others, I find that it changes throughout the day...I (happily) do not sense the sweet tobacco smell, but it is perhaps one of the more complex EDP's I've ever worn.

I love this fragrance. Please stop some of the other ones, they give me a bad headache. This one smells fantastic on me and everyone who comes near me says I smell amazing.

I liked the idea of the Honey note in this, so I bought it. I immediately smell a strong honey scent, which I love. It keeps changing, though. I don't think it's too sweet, which must be my taste. It lasts all day, a plus! At one point, it turned sour. Then it went powdery. Throughout all the notes, I still smell the honey. I've read so many reviews on this scent. Everyone smells something different, as perfumes smell different on us all. I do like this, but the jury's still out on it.

I keep wishing I would've bought this when it went on sale... it is one of those fragrances that lingers and makes you want to go back and smell it again. I tried it at the boutique on my jacket and found myself returning to the coat closet to get a whiff! I think I would like this as a home scent more than an actual perfume to wear.

The perfume is sweet, I'd say there are 70% of honey + 30% of "immortelle" (I mean the smell of other products of immortelle line, which I like a lot). I did not expect it to be so sweet. Unfortunately, the tester was not available in stores - I looked in 3 at least - that's why I give 4 stars. So, otherwise, I'm happy with this perfume, my husband found it tasty (on me :)), smells unusual, definitely it is not a replica - good job L'Occitane.

Among the several parfum scents from this company that I own, I would say this is fairly sweet, but not cloying. It does have the scent of the immortelle flowers but there is also a strong vanilla note that remains over time. I enjoy it, though I prefer some that are less sweet.

I agree strongly with Kate S, regarding sweetness. I was extremely captivated by the scent of Immortelle in other products. This one is so much sweeter that I doubt I will buy it again. I wish they would make one that had the same Immortelle scent of the Divine Elixir (not sure they still make that either), it was absolutely addictive.

I totally agree with Jennifer G. This parfum smells nothing like the real stuff. I have the pure Helichrysum/immortelle essential oil. If you would like to smell like an "old lady" definitely go for this parfum. Plus, there's no sample in a regular loccitane store. Sales told me it's available either in loccitane outlet store or loccitane.com. If you purchase this thru loccitane.com and turns out not liking it. Loccitane won't issue a refund, you can only exchange.

I love the smell of Immortelle. The flowers grow in the mountains of Santa Barbara where I live. The Immortelle line smells just like the flowers. Unfortunately this Parfum smells nothing like Immortelle. It smells heavy and lingering, sort of smokey and sweet.

I was so looking forward to the launch of this immortelle parfum as I love the scent of the immortelle flower in the other products. I'm a huge L'Occitane fan but this is the first product I returned to the store (after ordering it online). The scent is too liquor-like and I felt like I had been working in a liquor store all day cleaning up broken bottles. Otherwise, I'm still a L'Occitane fan but not of this product.
