Labdanum from Seville

On the rocky, sun-drenched grounds of Andalusia, a wild and hardy plant grows in abundance. Its name is Labdanum. To protect itself against the summer heat, its leaves and branches are coated with a richly fragrant resin, from which a precious absolute has been extracted since ancient times: Labdanum absolute, with a warm, enveloping and sensual scent.

Traceability

For its Labdanum Eau de Parfum, L’OCCITANE sources its Labdanum absolute from Andalusia, in Spain. The fragrant labdanum resin comes from Almaden de La Plata, near Seville, and located on the "Silver Route".
