I fell in love with this product the first time I used it, loving its light
lavender fragrence. While I've never used the "older" product I don't feel this has a synthetic quality to the fragrence and my husband in fact has commented on how much he loves the scent of both the
bath gel, body cream and cream, often noting that I smell nothing at all like a "granny".

I recently vacationed in France and realized I had forgotten
shower gel because of mislabeled travel bottles. I got to the Louvre's L'OCCITANE shop and found the travel trio of
lavender bath items. Previously I only used and love the bath salts. I loved the gel and scent and ordered more as soon as I got home.

I completely disagree with over reviewers. I think the smell and lather of this
shower gel is great...it really makes me feel relaxed and girly! It has become my favorite part of my bath routine! In fact, I am very pleased with the whole new Lavendar line.

I love the way this
shower gel makes your skin feel. It has an initial burst of
Lavender fragrance, but sadly that doesn't stay with you. I had received the
shower gel originally with a body lotion, but can't find it any longer. Recommend.

shower gel. It smells a little medicinal, but the
fragrance does blend well when layering my
lavender scented products.

I bought the organic
shower gel in anticipation that I would get the effects of the
lavender fragrance. After my shower I could not smell it on myself nor could my husband. I was disappointed.

This is the first negative review I have ever left for L'OCCITANE. I am a long-time customer and have used your Organic
Lavender Shower Gel since it was first introduced. Then, with the new packaging and reviews I read, I decided to order a travel size of the newly-packaged product. I am so disappointed I could cry!!! The
fragrance is NOTHING like the previous one, which was perfection with its clear, pure
lavender scent. PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL ORGANIC
LAVENDER SHOWER GEL.

This is the worst product ever, it does not deliver; they need to revisit the formula. The scent of
lavender is barely there. It smells like synthetic
lavender. It starts off quickly rather strong "housecleaning product" and vanishes quickly.

I agree with the other reviews criticizing the new
lavender fragrance. It is nothing like the old scent and does lean towards the synthetic. The old scent was botanical and fresh. This new formula is a big disappointment.

This was one of the worst
lavender products I have ever used. It had absolutely no
fragrance. I would not recommend this product
