I have to admit, normally, I prefer citrus scents, especially in my hand cream/lotion. That was until I tried this lavender scented cream. If a scent is too strong, I tend to get headaches, the strength of this scent is perfect! Plus it keeps my hands soft and moisturized. It's wonderful!

Most hand creams are either too thick or too sticky for my liking, but this cream was neither. The lavender smell was mild and the cream absorbed easily. I used this while at work and was able to go back to using my computer without feeling like I was leaving an oil slick on my desk. Thank you for this sample, it was a great product.

I'm an equestrian so I'm exposed to all kinds of weather. My hands are so dry and damaged from the hard work it takes to care for horses. I've tried every hand cream out there and this is the best one by far! I put it on at bedtime and when I get up in the morning the difference is amazing. The lavender scent is so soothing too! This product is a must have for me. It is also the perfect stocking stuffer!

I don't usually like fragrances like this, but it is so light I have used my sample sparingly until I can get in to buy some! I like it much better than the lavender soap. I put it on my hands/arms at night before bed and it truly relaxes me.

I had to wash this off immediately - very disappointing. I could smell the lavender, but it was mixed with such a strong astringent or alcohol base, that the result was completely off-putting. Try Crabtree & Evelyn's hand cream to experience the difference. Big difference.

It has a beautiful scent, but too strong for me. I am sensitive to smell and the fragrance overwhelmed me. But the hand cream went on silky and my hands felt moisturized without being filmy. I shared the sample with 6 other co-workers! It was the sample that kept giving, which mean a little goes a long way. They all loved it.

I love L'Occitane products and have been a customer for years. I received the free lavender cream sample, but was disappointed with the way the lavender smelled. It didn't smell like fresh real lavender. Instead it had a musky, artificial lavender smell. I know L'Occitane uses great ingredients, but I don't know why their lavender line smells different from the real, fresh lavender scent I am used to smelling such as found in products like EO, Bonny Doon or Pre De Provence.

The sample I got is great, but then I love lavender enough to own the L'Occitane lavender fragrance. As always with L'Occitane, the hand cream is very moisturizing, but not greasy. When I run out of the other hand cream (especially great for travel), I'll buy the lavender one.

Sorry, but this version of the hand cream (and all the other new Lavende products) pale in comparison to a previous version L'Occitane made. The Eau de Toilette came in a cylindrical dark blue bottle, and it was so close to real lavender that I couldn't tell the difference between it and my own plants. The current version smells very little like real lavender, and dissipates almost immediately. Bring back your old version.

I loved the sample! It was perfectly moisturing for me - well absorbed, no extra residue, wonderful aroma. Absolutely perfect hand cream, except for the small cap. I almost ordered some for my mother (age 97) but she would never be able to "manage" the little screw-on tube. What a shame. Wish this were available in a pump or some other easy-to-dispense container.

I am a huge fan of lavender, and this is one of the best scents of pure lavender I have found. I keep this with me at all times and use it instead of a fragrance. The scent lasts a long time and it makes my skin super soft. Love it!

I am very unhappy with this new fragrance of lavender. I think it smells very manly and I don't like the gel-like texture. I like the thick cream of the old scent. I hope they change back to the previous lavender scent, it was much better.

I recently received a sample of this cream, and it is wonderful. The fragrance is better than any other lavender product I've used. It's as calming and relaxing as it's advertised to be; I love to put it on just before going to bed. It is also a very effective moisturizer. It seems expensive for the size, but its fragrance tempts me to splurge on it.

This hand cream smells great. It is very calming, soothing and warm, but if you're like me with dry, cracked, bleeding hands in the winter I would go for the regular Shea. What is even better for me is the Ultra Rich body lotion which does a great job of moisturizing my hands.

Also, the moisture doesn't last very long and my hands will be dry again in a few hours. I'm sure it's a great product for many, but it just doesn't work for me.

I love all L'Occitane products, especially the Lavender hand cream. Not everyone likes the lavender scent, but for me, I love the lavender scent, it's so fresh and smells so good. I tried other different brands of lavender hand creams, most of them smell too strong or too sweet, and they are kind of greasy. But L'Occitane's lavender hand cream is not greasy at all and the smell is prefect. I always have one in my purse and at work. I love it.

This lotion is one of the purest and best on the market! Actually it is the best of the many I have tried for my continuously dry hands. I keep mini tubes in every purse, one big one by my bed side, and some in the bathroom and baby's room. After washing my hands a hundred times a day I can put this on and have silky smooth hands again. If I put it on in the morning I can wash my hands a lot before they feel dry at all.
