Shipping Policy

Most purchases are shipped from our warehouse in New Jersey by Federal Express, to arrive within 7 - 10 business days from receipt of your order. For an additional charge of $10.00 per address, we can expedite delivery by Federal Express to most destinations in 2 - 3 business days.

Standard Delivery
FedEx Ground will deliver your package within 7 - 10 business days from receipt of your order. Most of the orders shipped with Standard FedEx Ground option on the East Coast can be expected sooner (within only 2 - 4 business days).


Express Delivery
For an additional $8.00 per address, we will provide Express Delivery by Federal Express to most destinations. (Orders received by 3pm EST Monday through Thursday arrive in two to three business days; orders placed Friday and Saturday arrives on Wednesday or later.)

Overnight Delivery
For an additional $18.00, we will provide Overnight Delivery by Federal Express to most destinations. Please check with customer service on service limitations. (Orders received by 3pm EST Monday through Thursday arrive in two business days; orders placed Friday and Saturday arrives on Tuesday.)

Hazardous Materials
Certain items considered Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) which include alcohol-based products (e.g., perfumes,  etc.) and are required by the U.S. DOT to be shipped by Ground-only transport, due to air transport restrictions and regulations.

Federal Express has been selected as our premier delivery service. However, some packages may be delivered by an alternative carrier. For more information, please call our order department at (888) 623-2880.

International Orders:
If buying on-line please check if the country you would like to ship your order to is listed on the international homepage at www.loccitane.com.


Out of Stock Items:
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. If your item is out of stock we will contact you to discuss how you would like the order handled. L'OCCITANE does not back order.

Returns Policy

It is L'OCCITANE's intention to satisfy our customers. For this reason, we will gladly issue a full refund to the original credit card for any unopened merchandise that is returned within 14 days of the date of purchase. After 14 days, a store credit or exchange will be issued for any unopened merchandise returned up to 30 days after purchase. Items purchased with cash maybe be exchanged or a store credit issued. There are no cash refunds. All items must be accompanied by the original receipt and in unopened, saleable condition.

Payment Policy

Gift Cards:
Gift cards are available for purchase on line in any denomination of $25, $50 or $100. For more information or to purchase click here.

Gift Cards are available for redemption on-line and at any L’Occitane boutique. Gift cards may be redeemed by telephone order (1-888-623-2880).

When you purchase your gift certificate regular shipping charges are added, as well as sales tax, if applicable.

Forms of Payment:
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
We apologize for not accepting Diner's Club.

Sales Tax:
Sales tax is collected on total merchandise orders delivered to: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, NV, OH, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI. Some states also require us to collect sales tax on shipping charges.
