Love this cream. Have tried several other creams and lotions in past and nothing even compares to this. Will never switch to anything else again

The. Best. Ever I've tried many hand creams, both drugstore and higher-end, and this takes the cake for moisturizing. It works, smells great, and travels well. I have tubes all over!

I use and love L'OCCITANE's hand cream more than anything! I think it's a perfect size for carrying in a purse! This hand cream has a nice light scent that is not overwhelming. The cream is moisturizing enough without being sticky or greasy. When I use tihs product, I don't get any static shock on my hands and this is a big reason why I use this cream. I have really sensitive skin and no other hand lotion has left my dry hands as smooth as this! :-)

My hands always get dry in the winter and they crack but with this hand cream, my hands healed fast and became so soft. Even with the slight fragrance (which is lovely) my hands didn't sting or burn after use unlike most other hand creams that I use. I have very sensitive skin and this cream is the absolute best there is. This is the only hand cream that I will ever use, I love it.

This handcream is wonderful. It has a nice, fresh clean scent that isn't overpowering or too floral. My husband is even always asking me for it, because it helps his dry skin so much.

I was given this handcream as a gift for christmas as I have extremely dry hands in the winter that crack and bleed and just burn with pain when washing and drying them. I used it once or twice and began to see remarkable results. by the end of the first day after applying it a few times, and very little cause a little goes a long way, my hands were not only healed but so soft and supple. Year-round this is a marvelous hand cream, but it is in the winter that I most appreciate it. It combats the awful dryness from furnaces running constantly and cold outside conditions.

I hand wash dishes and don't apply hand cream often enough. One recent night my right hand woke me up from the chapped, bleeding, burning pain. I have used this hand cream for years. I knit and crochet since retiring from teaching. While teaching, my hands would get very dry from all the paper. Now my hands dry from handling different wool and cotton yarns. This is great. It absorbs into the hands very well leaving no greasy feel. The Shea Butter Hand Cream really does all that the marketing PR says it would do. Very soothing and prevents my thumbs from cracking in the cold dry weather. It does not leave an oily sticky feeling on the skin. My husband uses it as well. A reasonable price for a generous 5.2 ounces.

I love this hand cream! I live in UT so it is a very dry climate. My hands are always dry and split but with this cream they are nice and soft. The foot cream is excellent too!

This is the best cream out there for cold Pacific Northwest winters. For me personally, one of the reasons I buy this is because the scent evaporates. I don't want to smell like citrus and I don't want my hand lotion to interfere with my Channel Noir perfume. Too much of 2 different scents would be overbearing. Keep as is and I will buy forever.

This is the best hand cream I have ever used. I live in CO where dryness is a very chronic problem and this is a gift from heaven! I do wish I could order the medium size tube online. I travel a lot and have to keep it under 3 oz. Worth the trip to the store however.

I got this hand cream through a free coupon on your web site. I really thought that it was a little on the expensive side, but after trying this I can only imagine how the rest of your products are! This lotion, in a matter of a few days, removed a callous that I had on one of my fingers. I had tried everything under the sun, but nothing worked. Honestly, I would pay a little more for a product that works.The scent is nice and it is quickly absorbed by the skin. I only wish they had bigger sizes.

I have been using the 20% Shea Butter hand cream off and on for a few years now. Admittedly I am a hand creme junkie and have tried several on the market from drugstore to high-end and this is always the one I keep returning too. After using the shea hand-scrub (which I use at least twice a week) I apply a nickle sized amount to my hands and wrists and am left with the softest skin imaginable. I just have to tell everyone how effective this cream is. After my mami's major surgery a very sticky bandage film was removed and this glue took part of her skin with it. It was very painful and everything that was put on, burned. I had the travel size in my bag and Voila! after applying it her skin calmed down and she said it was even a bit cooling. Needless to say it looked awful and it crusted, but soon enough it started healing nicely.Three weeks later the scar is almost gone. Merci!!

I've been using this hand cream for years. Every winter I used to get cracks all around my nails thanks to the dry air compounded by the daily use of chalk (as a teacher). Ever since I started using this, I've had far fewer problems. The moment I feel a crack, I apply this cream frequently and within a day or so, the crack starts to disappear. A small dab moisturizes wonderfully and absorbs into the skin leaving my hands feeling very soft. I refuse to be without it!

I absolutely love this hand cream. The only thing that I'd change is the fragrance. The smell is awful.

Love the shea butter hand cream - feels refreshing when it goes on and hydrates nicely. The only downfall to the product is the tube and cap design. Not only do I find it hard to screw the cap back on but,the cap can be a choking hazard to young children if dropped and lost. I still have a cap lost somewhere in my vehicle. It's still a nice product, but hope that they give thought to redesigning the tube and cap.

I thought there was something wrong with the tubes I had and emailed L'OCCITANE. They immediately picked up the old tubes and sent me two new tubes. Their customer service was extraordinary and the product is fantastic. However, because of the difficulty in squeezing it out of the tube I will not purchase it again in the tube.

I can't say enough about this product! My hands get very dry in the winter months and this product turned things around in just a couple of days. They write the truth about being non-greasy which is very important to me. The only down side, they do not offer an unscented hand cream.

This is a dream lotion. It is rich but not oily or greasy. Recently after doing some major winter house cleaning and not wearing gloves, my hands were red and severely dry. The lavender version of the shea butter hand cream has an almost undetectable lavender scent and smells and feels slightly waxy. I would not describe it as a "super-creamy balm"; I need to reapply it too often to consider it an "extremely effective formula" as far as its moisturizing ability is concerned, but it does penetrate quickly without leaving "oily traces".

The shea butter hand cream smells nice, goes on smoothly, and is absorbed quickly. However, it's not as moisturizing as I would like. The cream feels like a barrier on my skin, which is fine, but it's not the same as restoring moisture to my dry skin. For me, this will be more like a barrier cream (like using before I go out into the cold) than one that softens and moisturizes my skin.

I wasn't really impressed with this hand cream--just like any other failure of a cream I've tried for my hands. I have really dry hands and this was just another hand cream/lotion that I had to constantly re-apply in the hopes that some moisture would stay in my hands. I guess I'll have to keep trying to find the one that finally locks the moisture in and resists being washed off when I wash my hands. If it's truly locking in the moisture, then washing my hands shouldn't affect them much.

I love many other L'Occitane products, but I am not a fan of this one. It is too greasy and irritates my skin. I like the packaging - I just wish they would come out with a sensitive skin version like the body lotion.

This is the best hand cream out there! In the winter, my knuckles crack and bleed from the cold and dry air. This is the only stuff that works. Excellent hand cream.I was not into hand creams as I thought my daily lotion is enough to moisturize, but that made my hands super greasy and uncomfortable. I've stopped using cream for my hands till I got a trial sample in facebook. I'm totally loving this product. It's just meant for hands!

I have used this hand cream for "years", when L'Occitane was only being sold in Barney's NY (in Calif.), before there were the individual stores and I LOVE it! I even turned my mom onto it years ago, along with the body lotion and bar soap. I love the clean smell, which reminds me of a "baby product"'s, scent. So needless to say L'Occitane, I am your BIGGEST FAN!!!

Loved this hand cream since I tried it several years ago. It doesn't leave any sticky residue, but does a great job moisturizing hands. I also use it on elbows and heels. Love the fact that the scent is very neutral, doesn't clash with any perfumes and my son and husband can use it, too.

I've tried many hand creams and they have all been too light and don't moisturize my dry hands enough. This hand cream, however, works on my very dry hands. The cream is not very greasy, but it coats very well. The smell is not too overpowering, but still light and fresh. A plus to this hand cream is that since it contains shea butter, scars that were on the back of my hands from IVs (due to being sick in the hospital for a while) vanished very fast with daily use of it.

I have a full size tube for home, and I carry a travel size with me. It really moisturizes without being greasy.

This is a great cream and definitely one of my favorites! Very thick and absorbs quickly. My only complaint is that it doesn't hold up well if you have to wash your hands a lot during the day.

I had not tried this handcream until last month, but I am a convert! It is nongreasy, absorbs well and lasts til the next handwashing. Looks and feels pretty moisturizing and even greasy as some say, but this lasts for only a minute or two. Your hands are dry again pretty soon. For the price, I want to give it only 1 star. I will not repurchase it again.

I bought a tube for each of my 5 sisters for Christmas! They loved it so much we had to make a special trip so they could stock up for the rest of the winter.

Liked the hand cream but hated the on line experience. I was charged shipping ~19.00 by mistake (happens) however I was given an e-mail address to request a correction, which didn't go thru and then had to call customer service. Customer Services was very good however I should not have to be put out to correct your mistake. Very disappointed in the customer service e-mail address not working. I'll think twice before going thru your web site again.

This hand cream is extremely greasy when you put it on. It does not have a pleasant fragrance. My hands were so dry from using this product. I was surprised it was not as good as I thought it would be especially since the ingredients are supposedly good for you.

It's a bit too greasy but a little goes a long way. The smaller size that I got as a gift is easily tucked in a pocket or purse. Although it works pretty well, I have found other, organic and less expensive ones that are more effective. I also do not like the smell which reminds me of diaper ointment or old lady smell.

Montana winters are brutal. My skin drys and cracks, but thanks to your products I am able to cope. I love the non greasy, moisturizing shea butter along with all your other wonderful fragrant creams.

Very smoothing and ultra moisturizing hand cream with a very light armona and not greasy. Just a small dab is all one needs to have very soft hands. I love this hand cream. I do a lot of gardening and use this cream afterwards and at my age I still get compliments on my hands. Thanks for a great product!!!!

This works very well, but for me I prefer the Ultra Rich body lotion to moisturize my dry, cracked, bleeding winter hands. The coconut oil smells great, just like in the body lotion.

Just received this cream for Christmas! Leaves skin soft and hydrated for a long time after application. Not quite as quickly absorbed as the Biotherm hand cream which is the only cream I have used that leaves absolutely no greasy residue, but I think this one by L'Occitane does a better job at keeping my hands moisturized. I'm only 30, but I  feel like this is the moisturizer I will still be using when I am 90. The smell is subtle and pleasant, and the lotion itself is luxurious and mega-softening without any greasiness. I have tried a zillion hand creams (as a preschool teacher, I am a constant hand-washer!) but this is the only one that does everything perfectly. The $10 tubes last way longer than you'd expect, and are affordable enough to keep a couple around. Bottom line: I love this stuff.

Okay, I LOVE this hand cream. People think I'm crazy but I seriously SAVE a budget for this. I have three little ones so money is tight but I cannot and will not use any regular hand lotion. My husband and I both get eczema from time to time. No moisturizer has worked nearly as well as this for healing our skin. There are natural anti-inflammatory properties to shea butter which may explain why it helps with eczema. I always carry a small tube with me and have made converts of anyone ever trying this product. I believe it is the best hand cream available anywhere. It may seem expensive compared to drugstore brands, but it last a very long time and is worth every penny!

I believe this is the best hand cream ever made. The smell is amazing and you need just a pea size. Leaves your hands silky smooth & your cuticles soft. It not only heals but always protects them as well. I am always amazed how well it works not only in the winter, but spring, summer & fall. I have been using this handcream since the 90's. I have tried others but always come back. I keep a large tube by my bed and minis in my purse, car and at work. You will not be disappointed with this.

Why I like this hand cream: its clean scent doesn't interfere with my perfume, it's not so greasy that I'm wiping my hands after an application, and most importantly, it hydrates so well I only need to apply it once a day.

I have been addicted to this stuff since 2002! I use it every night before bed. It is the Tiffany's of hand cream. The texture and consistency is like butter, and the fragrance is lovely as well. I carry the travel size in my purse and use it for all kinds of emergency fixes. It has saved the day more than once when I had dry skin on my legs, or had to touch up my hairstyle by smoothing down unruly dry fly aways.

this hand cream is so silky and nice. it also smells good, but if you like a sweet scent, try the cherry blossom one. this moisturizes like no other hand cream. i carry the little travel size one with me all the time.

This is my favorite hand cream ever! I live in a really dry place, and this keeps my hands soft and protected without greasiness or lots and lots of applications. The light scent is perfect - not too overwhelming for co-workers or family that may have difficulty with strong odors.

Hands down, L'Occitane has the best hand creams on the market. My hands are in and out of water all day long and this beauty has staying power. Most other hand creams or lotions lose their effectiveness after the first time in water. I do have to admit I prefer the lavender cream over the shea butter. It seemed that I had to use a little less (maybe because of the lavender AOC oil) and I am partial to the fragrance. I bought it because it was 3.00 cheaper than the lavender. What was I thinking?

The L'Occitane hand cream with 20% shea butter has the perfect combination of scent and moisturizer. It has a light scent that is very pleasant so you can apply as much and as often as you like. I find it to be well absorbed and does not blend away when applied. I always have plenty "on hand" at work, home and in my purse.

Nice hand cream. it has a great smell. When I apply it on my hand, I feel that there is a thin layer there protecting my skin, but I dont feel oily at all. And the smell last quite a bit by the way. I like the tube and the woody-like seal paper, because they make the product look back-to-nature.
