Shea Butter Lip Balm Stick

I've used other brands of lip balm and chap stick, but this is the best by far. It works so well, I don't have to apply it everyday (unless I want to!) because my lips stay moisturized after I use it.

This is the only chapstick that has worked on my dry cracked lips. There is no bitter taste (I'm always licking my lips). I love this product.

This stuff is fantastic. There seem to have been some complaints about the taste on how it goes on, but I've had no troubles. It has a nice, light flavor and it goes on quite smoothly. My lips are so soft! It's just amazing. It always gets so dry during the winter and this is the perfect product to keep your lips smooth!

I love this product! I bought this as a suggestion from a friend on what her favorite lip balm was, and as a huge tester of all skin products (especially lip products) this stuff is amazing! Its flavor is mild and different from any other lip balm I've used...I only wish a tube could last longer, but its hard when I want to apply it every single day :) PS: I have not found this product difficult to apply or irritating (sorry to the ladies who previously commented)

I love this product. I put it on every night before I go to bed and it goes on very soft and moist. When I wake up in the morning, my lips feel replenished and not at all cracked and dry. I will continue to buy this product when I run out.

I'm not sure why people are saying that this is difficult to put on, I've had a couple of these, I just bought a new one, and I've never had any problems whatsoever. To me, it applies just as smooth as any other chapstick-type lip balm. It's always been an awesome lip balm, it keeps my lips soft and healthy, even during winter, which is not something I can say about very many products, I love this stuff!

I love this lip balm! It's smooth and creamy and a wonderful moisturizer. I especially like to use it at night right before I go to sleep, so it can work all night.

This product dried out me and my husbands lips, it only felt good going on and then after about 20 minutes you realize you need more.

This chapstick made me develop a weird rash around my lips.. Took me a couple weeks to realize this was the problem. Rash cleared up a day after stopping use..

Heidi and KC are totally right this product is not very good. I have sensitive lips so that's why I need a very good product for them. I thought this could be the one because L'Occitane has the best products, but it's very hard to apply and leaves a bitter flavor in your mouth. I don't recommend it.

This is a good lip balm, but I prefer the 100% shea in the .26 oz. It's softer to apply and because it has over 50 uses I find that it's a better bang for the buck. And to be honest, I find $10 is just a bit steep for lip balm.

I really, really like the smell and it feels so good on. It is not sticky like some balms. The amount is less than anticipated, but I'm sure it will last for a long time!

Do not buy this product! I have been using this lip balm for long time until recently, I purchased 2 lip balm, when I opened it, it's very dry and sticky, couldn't even put on my lips. Then I brought them to the store, they refused to exchange them for me, the reason is it was over 1 month....

I should have read the reviews before purchasing this. I thought maybe it was dried out from shipping, or just old. Consistency of a candle. Waste of money.

I love and use tons of L'Occitane products, especially the Shea line. I received this for Christmas and could not be more disappointed. It is dry and sticky and actually makes my lips feel worse. I'm not really fond of the taste either. Two thumbs down on this one.

My favorite lip balm! I've tried several others, and continually repurchase this one because I feel it's better for moisturizing your lips, while others moisten your lips for a short period of time.

I absolutely adore this lip balm. I got this from Delta on a flight from Europe and I've become addicted to how it makes my lips feel. I read some of the bad reviews on here and I just can't imagine this soft mild lip balm as hard, dry and sticky. Seems to me maybe they had old product.

I got this as part of the Shea Weatherproof set, and mine was very hard and waxy as well when I received it. I read a review on another site that said to just scrape off the top layer and it will be fine. I tried that and underneath the lip balm was much softer and easier to apply. It keeps my lips moisturized for a long time but the taste and smell are a bit strong for me. Think I will reserve it for the winter or when I am flying.

I bought this because I love L'Occitane's hand cream and I thought that this might be just as good. But, I was disappointed. This was really hard. I have to rub it with my finger for a couple of minutes before I could put it on my lips. But I got a tin of pure shea butter with my order, and I now use that for my chapped lips.

I first received this as part of a Christmas gift two years ago. I loved it and used it everyday. I got it again this year and got a hard yellow stick. I can't use it. I think if you are buying this in the future, check it out in the store to be sure you are getting a "fresh" product. It seems as if this may just be a problem with shelf life.

I received the Lip Balm with the Shea Weatherproof Set. Everything else in the set was great except the lip balm. I am extremely disappointed with this product. Like the previous testimonials, mine was hard, dry, and sticky. I tried applying it to my lip, it made my lip even drier than without the lip balm. I am also not sure if mine just went bad or else!!

I just received my order which I was quite excited about. Thanks for the quick delivery! I am very happy with the other products I purchased (body cream, body lotion, and lip gloss), but this one... I'm quite disappointed. It feels quite dry and waxy. The stick is also very yellow. Not sure if it has gone bad or that's the way it is.

This item made it on my Christmas list because of the rave reviews I read here. I did receive three of these items-- all three were yellow, hardened, and dried out. I have to rub it on my hand for quite some time to get the product to be smooth enough to apply to my lips without hurting them. Very disappointing.

Disappointing. I ordered this because of the great reviews, but when it arrived the color was more yellow, the stick itself was hard and dry. It actually chafed my lips during first the application. Due to their return policy, I'm stuck with this "opened, unreturnable product."

This is a particularly good product for men, because it is a lip balm without the fancy/fruity flavors or smells. The scent/flavor is of a more earthy/nutty flavor and is very subtle. You get the benefit of a lip balm, superior moisturizing, without glossiness or fragrances.

My teenage children wear this daily! I do too! Nothing on the market compares to the hydration and comfort we get from this wonderful lip care product!!

This is the best ever lip balm. My husband even uses it when he feels like his lips are getting a bit chapped with the cooler weather. He doesn't like the feel of chapstick, and this has not been a problem for him at all. I think that we have found the one for us!

After many attempts with other products, I found this lip balm to be ideal for my lips that are easily chapped. Since the first time I tried, my lips were so soft and hydrated, that I did not hesitate to buy it. Already going for the second and remain faithful to it!

I love this lip balm. I also like the mini pure shea butter but I feel that this product is better for using when I am at work as I can apply it without using my finger. You won't find a better lip balm anywhere else!

My husband tends to get chapped lips during the winter months and I've tried just about all the products on the market but they haven't worked for him...that is until I found this Shea Butter Lip Balm. He tried this and it worked beautifully. I liked it because it didn't have a "taste" so he wasn't tempted to lick it off (such a child!). His lips were SOOO soft and smooth. I've purchased additonal tubes and kept them on hand for both of us. BEST product for lips I've ever found!

this lip balm is VERY moisturizing. i prefer the other lip balms since i like the scents, but this is the most moisturizing one.

The L O'Occitane Shea Butter lip balm is the best product in the market for your lips! I started using this product last year when I was about to swim back from Alcatraz in San Francisco, CA... and it kept my lips perfect in that salty water and sunny weather! It's become my favorite product, though the shea shampoo and conditioner are also superb! I've made my own gifts sets from various L 'Occitane products for friends... now they are hooked, too!

First tried this when given it while traveling 1st class on Air France. Fell in love with it and have been hooked ever since!
