Shea Butter Ultra Rich Face Cream

My skin was so dry and chapped from snowboarding this winter and this crème saved me! Love it!

Love this stuff! I have normal to oily skin and I use it at night (along with the eye creme). I could tell a difference after the first week.

Love the cream. Have used it for years, first purchasing it in Paris. My only complaint is your stores are depleting too quickly. Sephora used to carry a lot of your products but now barely anything. Store locations are far from me so I am restricted to on-line. Am more apt to buy more products if I see them.

Great cream.soft and rich. Using it for a long time already. I have dry and sensitive skin. This cream is one and only that makes me feel comfortable all time.

The weather is really dry here in Utah. But this one is really fabulous.I use it everyday!

I love this creme. I have extremely sensitive skin and have not had any problems with this. I'm looking forward to trying the new jar. By the time I made it to the bottom of the old one, the creme had started to break down. Kind of nice that there is less bottom on this one. Ideally, I would like a dispenser to squeeze it out, keeping the creme more pristine.

After a month of use, I'm absolutely addicted! My skin has never been this smooth and beautiful. I don't really even need makeup anymore. And just a little bit of the product goes such a long way that I'm not feeling remotely guilty about the cost, either.

It's been said before that nothing moisturizes like this cream, and that's the truth. It makes my dry skin feel comfortable for a full 24 hours (no tightness whatsoever). No other cream does this!

I too must weigh in with my comments about this new jar. I LOVE this cream but really miss the easy to hold straight sided jar - with the flat top! But, about the cream! Nothing moisturizes like this cream. NEVER stop making it L'OCCITANE! When my friends think I've had botox - I know you are doing something right!

I have extremely dry skin. Using this, I no longer need to apply moisturizer more than once a day! Love it!

I am a 50 yr old male who has very dry skin. I have been using this product for several years and I find it superior to anything else that I have tried. I wish they would bring back the jar that they had before the current one, but I'll still continue to purchase it.

I bought this today after using the samples I got with my previous purchases. This cream was perfect. For the longest time I had peeling on my nose and very dry skin. Nothing worked on the peeling. I used this, and a day later my skin was soft, smooth, and peel free! I'm very happy with it. I also love the clean scent, and the fact that you only need to use a little bit! I'm so glad I found this cream, I will be using it from now on!

Our family LOVES this product. My granddaughter's hands become very chapped in the winter and we could not find any cream that would not burn or heal her hands, until we started using this product. A couple of applications and all is great. My son and husband also use it in the winter as they often work outdoors, prevents their faces from drying from the harsh MN winter. I use it every day and have never loved a product more than this one!! ENJOY!!

I absolutely love this moisturizer! I use it at night after the Ultra Comforting Cleansing Milk, and my face feels amazing! I have such dry and sensitive skin, it is nice to know there is something this wonderful for me to use.

I love the product, it keeps my face smooth and hydrated all day. HOWEVER, I am having difficulty getting the cover off the jar.

I agree with Deborah T about the new jar. I too miss the old design for the same reasons -- ease of use. Regarding the product inside the jar, excellent - excellent - excellent! Wouldn't switch for anything.

Love this particular L'OCCITANE product...especially with my "mature" skin.

I love this cream. I have roseacea and it has completly cleared up. This cream is light and creamy and soaks right in to my skin. Perfect for winter. For summer I may switch to the 8% shea cream. But for now this has my skin looking better than ever.

L'Occitane, please bring back the original formulation! I have very sensitive skin; this product was the only facial cream that I found to moisturize my face w/o causing irriatation. It was glorious until about a year ago when you changed the formulation, along with the packaging. I immediately noticed the new packaging, but the saleswomen assured me that it was the same product. Wrong! I'm allergic to this new formulation; my face immediately breaks out in hives. I cannot find a replacement.

I love this moisturizer. I live in a dry, high-altitude location and I have sensitive skin. I also have autoimmune disease and this product soothes my skin. I even use it on my arms where I get eczema - I normally have eczema all winter and it hasn't flared up once since I've been using this product. This is the only non-prescription product that has ever worked on my eczema. I'm buying the body cream because I love this so much.

I love this creme. I use it in winter when my skin is especially dry. I have combination skin, but it doesn't make my skin too oily or cause it to break out. I love the scent, too, but I guess it's a matter of personal taste.

If I could bathe in this, I would! I have never used a product that I have consistently been so happy with! The smell is wonderful and it feels so creamy smooth on my face and neck. Love it!

I don't understand the negative comments on this wonderful cream. I am in love with this product and use it twice a day along with the shea butter eye cream/balm and have found it to be better than other products I have used for years (philosophy). I think it may be too dense for summer so I just ordered the the ultra moisturizing fluid spf 20 for the hot months. I am eager to receive the shea butter fabulous serum as well. The shea butter scrub used first makes a HUGE difference in absorption.

Please bring back the old jar, this is my all time favorite face cream (and I've tried many, I'm a true cosmetic junkie) but this new jar makes the product a 4 out of 5 instead of a 5 overall. It is difficult to use, it tips over constantly and as stated before it is difficult to hold. This product is wonderful, it's nourishing, calming, ultra hydrating, it makes my normal/dry skin glow, I have never been happier with the product itself, just please bring back the old jar...

This is the only moisturizer I use and I love it, however--this new jar is problematic. I agree that it's pretty to look at, but it's very tippy, awkward and difficult to hold. The jar I just bought slid out of my hand and shattered all over my bathroom counter, leaving tiny shards of glass everywhere. I couldn't even salvage what was in the jar because of all the glass so I had to replace it. I'll keep buying this cream, but I'll have to transfer it to another container for practical use.

Its alright, that's all I will say, nothing bad but nothing outstanding either.

I started falling in love with L'occitane products after having first tried the Shea cream on my face. It really does keep you moisturized all day and the dry spots on my combination skin disappeared after 1-2 days of use. Since then, I have tried the other lines of skincare that L'occitane carries, including the precious cream, angelica face cream, divine cream & immortelle brightening cream. I realized that this was too greasy compared with the other awesome creams available in L'occitane that this was too greasy compared with the other awesome creams available in L'occita

The new jar is a real problem--easily tips over and hard to hold. Please bring back the original jar!!

I love this cream and have used it for a long time on my dry sensitive skin. However, I really don't like the new jar. It's top heavy to hold and awkward to open. It also looks like there is less cream in this new jar compared to your old one.

I love the cream, but don't like the new jar, either. It definitely seems like there is less cream in it.

I do not like the new jar on this item nor on the Immortelle Precious Cream. Please bring back the old!!! This one is difficult to hold on the bottom (too small) while turning the lid.

Allergic to the version with SPF20

This was my favorite product BEFORE it was reformulated. Now it contains sunscreen chemicals that I can't tolerate (they irritate my skin); I will have to find some other product to use. Too bad, L'OCCITANE, you lost this customer.

Fragrance is over-powering, burned my face, broke out in hives. Hope the eye balm does not do the same.

I purchased the SPF version of this product in-store. After using it for 3 days I noticed that my skin had become more blotchy and covered with red bumps, so stopped using the cream and returned it to the store. This was not the right product for my acne prone, combination skin.

I have allergies all over my face because of this product! I dont know what to do about it. It's so embarassing to go outside because I have rashes all over my face. My face is so red, and is very itchy. I love the olive cream product but not this.

Changing the formula in this cream is soo disappointing. Now I am on a search for a new face cream after using the old formula for years. Bring it back.

I love this face cream, it is great. I can't use anything with SPF so I hope that you keep this the way it is. I do not like the new jar at all I must say.

I found this cream to be extremely irritating for my face. I have sensitive and dry skin and have had a very good experience with L'Occitane's shea and cotton line. But with this cream, I ended up with a horrible, bumpy, itchy, red rash that took weeks to go away. If you have sensitive skin, I would do a patch test before putting it all over your face. I also found the smell to be unpleasant.

Always good to try samples first and I found this was a bit to rich for my face so I use the Ultra comforting creme which is great for my sensitive skin.

I have very very dry skin and it used to crack a lot during winter time. After trying out samples of this cream, I noticed the difference right away! I bought this cream and have been using it since - it's been 5 years and my skin has turned around to be healthy and glowing! This cream keeps my skin moisturized 24x7, no kidding! This is a superb product; I strongly recommend it for those that have dry skin! And most important of all, please do not discontinue this cream! :)

This is a skin irritating product! I have eczema with a very dry face and as soon as I put it in my face it all became red. My guess is that there's some irritating chemical. I love LOCCITANE products, but this one is completely disappointing!

This is a great product - long lasting hydration and softness with an extrtemely pleasing, yet subtle, fragrance.

I bought this a few months ago and it worked great for a while, but then it began irritating the eczema on my face. It has a very strong smell as well. I never was too happy with it, but gave it a long, good try. I won't buy again. Unfortunately, it's too late to get my money back.

This cream is wonderful! I have used it with L'Occitane's Fabulous Serum everyday am and pm for more than a month now and the result gets better everyday. My skin doesn't feel tight anymore, it looks healthy and it feels healthy. I'm so happy to finally find the product that works on my skin! Thank you L'Occitane!
