I am 52 years old and have suffered from Rosacea for several years. It has been hard to find a facial
cleanser that would make my skin feel clean without irritating or drying. When I tried the 8% shea bar
soap I was amazed at the results. It is a joy to be able to just pick up a bar of
soap in the shower and suds up to my hearts content without worrying. Thanks L'OCCITANE for such fine products!

I have oily and acne prone skin and have always had to find gentle
soaps and this
soap is perfect! My skin feels so soft and refreshed afterwards and it really has helped as part of keeping my complexion clear. And the bar really does seem to last forever! Fantastic

I love this
soap. I would have never tried it unless I was given it as a gift because I have
oily skin and "
shea butter" just doesn't sounds like it would be good for that. But, it really is wonderful. I use it for my face and eyes and it is softening and gentle but does not make my skin more oily. It actually helps to clarify my skin. Great

I have used many expensive face
cleansers, and like this one the best. It cleans, and then leaves my face soft - not stripped. For the price I think this is a great product.

This smells so lovely and does not leave my face stiff or dry after washing. It really is a treat at the end of the day. I follow this with the
shea butter fabulous serum and my face has never looked better and my acne flares are once in a blue moon since using these two products. Thank you!!!

My face likes it! However, it stings my eyes once a while when washing off. I will try a different product I think. I wish it can be improved so that I don't have to shop for a different product!

Was disappointed-left my face dry and didn't feel soft or smooth. Love all their other products but won't purchase this again. Will probably use it for the body but wasted money since I was planning on using for the face.

Since I first discovered the hand cream, I've fallen in love with this brand! I was much excited about this
soap. It smelled great and lathered up really well! However, I did discover that it was drying. It was beginning to make my skin peel, actually. So, I tried to use it as a body
soap. Dove
soap leaves a better feeling than this bar! This is one product that needs altering.

I am a big fan of the
Shea butter product line but this face
soap is very disappointing. It claims to have
shea butter but after the first use, my face got totally dry. And now I use it as a hand
soap, but compare to the extra gentle
soap, it is still too harsh on my hand. I think some serious reformulation is needed for this
soap.

As rich and creamy as the "cold cream"
soap... be careful bringing this into the tub or you'll find yourself using it for the body too! Great if you prefer bar
soap for the face!

Advice:
Lather in wet hands, apply on face and neck with circular massaging motions and rinse-off. Apply with cool, fresh water in the morning for an invigorating wake-up for the skin and with warm water in the evening to relax and soothe the face.
