Shea Butter Ultra Rich Shampoo

I have thick textured black indian long hair, damaged (flat iron), after each wash its dry, frizzy and unmanageable. After this shampoo I am getting moisture, shine and smoothness in my hair and straightning is becoming easier. Love it!

My hair is fine, highlighted, and tends to get oily at the roots. I typically use the Pureology line for color-treated hair, but it tends to leave my hair limp, as do many other similar products. But not this one! Even though it is labeled "Ultra Rich," this shampoo does not weigh my hair down at all. It simply leaves it feeling incredibly clean. I also use the conditioner, and I love it too. Highly recommended; this product does exactly what I was hoping it would do.

I too discovered this marvelous combination of shampoo and conditioner while visiting a hotel, Hotel Monaco in Alexandria VA and I have not put another product line on my head since. Curly, dry and baby fine, my hair doesn't take well to experimentation and is often weighed down by products, but not these! Also I find that I don't have to shampoo as much either which promotes a healthy shine. I use a tiny amount and achieve a full lather which extends life of smallish bottle. Highly recommended.

I really love this product. I am an African American and have coarse curly hair and this is chemical-free. It did wonders for my hair after one use. Usually my hair is dry after I shampoo my hair. Not with the shampoo. I did not really need a conditioner, but did use the conditioner that goes along with this shampoo. I was amazed and have finally found the product that I will use forever. Thanks for such a wonderful pleasant smelling product. I hate perfumed lace hair products.

My hairdresser cannot believe how great my hair keeps my color and how good my hair looks between appointments! I tell her it is all because I only use L’Occitane Shea Butter Shampoo. It keeps my thick, curly hair tame and smooth.

I have thick hair and this shampoo leaves it nice and soft. As the other review mentioned, it does have a tendency to leave hair tangled. The solution I found is to comb your hair while you are shampooing and rinsing. You won't have any tangles after.

I love this shampoo for during the winter. It leaves my scalp itch-free, & it works great with pretty much any conditioner out there. I'm going to but this again after what I have runs out.

It certainly eliminates frizz, but it doesn't have the best scent. I suggest smelling it before you buy it.

I have blonde, fine, thin hair. I absolutely hate this product and the conditioner that goes w/as well. I want my money back. it left my hair unable to put comb through it, knotty and coarse. I love the other products for dry hair not this one.

The first time i used this shampoo and matching conditoner it felt like when i was a kid. I am 52 and colour my hair which is naturally curly. This product is amazing. My hair is soft, light and curls are bouncy. This is what I get every time, just love to wash my hair again and again... thank you

This is the best shampoo ever. You just need to use a small amount and it is so rich and creamy I no longer use a conditioner and I color my hair.

I have coarse, relaxed hair. The first time I used it in conjunction with the conditioner, my hair was soft, silky, bouncy and healthy. The results are instant. I left the conditioner in my hair for 10 minutes under the dryer.

I love this shampoo. Finally, a shampoo that leaves my hair soft and shiny, not dry and frizzy. My only complaint is how hard it has been to get lately. I'm going to need to stock up on it, because it seems to go out of stock for months at a time - very frustrating.

I used a full bottle of this shampoo and it worked great on Afo hair. The bottle looks small but can be used for many washes. I wash rinse and repeat at every wash and this bottle lasted me for 6 washes.A fter you wash I recommend you rinse with the conditioner, before using the Shea butter hair mask. The conditioner softens the hair more and will help the mask to glide on smoothly. I usually leave the mask on my hair for about 1 hr. Apply a small amt of mask after towel dry hair and style.

I began using the Shea Butter shampoo and conditioner after visiting the Four Seasons Hotel in Maui, HI. The hotel had travel sizes in our room for our use. It was love at first use and I have been using it ever since. In fact my hairdresser began to wonder what I had done that made my hair so healthy and shiny. Plus I use to get sores on my head during the winter due to the dry air, but no more since using the shea butter shampoo and conditioner. I am a believer!
