This is great for a man, too. Not as heavy as the
CADE aftershavee balm or the
CADE complete care moisturizer. Use it in the spring/summer and switch to
CADE fall/ winter.

I have found this cream to be true to its claims when applied to my face. I was very skeptical when I purchased it, but saw a difference on the first application - the blotchiness went away and no blemishes resulted. I've been using it every day for the last week and am very happy. I will continue to use it as a night cream, preferring the rice moisturizer for under-makeup during the day so that it prevents shine half-way through the day.

I used to use the old version of this (shea and cotton) and I was so mad when they changed the formula, but I bought this new version anyways and I love it! It is even better than the original! It way more moisturizing and soothing and still extremely gentle. Even after using retinols and harsh washes my face isn't dry (even in the super dry Colorado winter weather). I have also noticed a huge improvement in dark spots and discolored areas on my face. I LOVE this! I will definitely buy again!

This isn't the worst moisturizer I've used, but it's not nearly as soothing or as hydrating as the Ultra Comforting Cream it was supposed to replace.

It's okay. I really liked the old version of this moisturizer. I am not sure why they changed the formulation but I don't think it's an improvement at all. It does not feel as nice when I apply it. It actually feels more watery.

I am very disappointed in this new version of moisturiser for
sensitive skin. It is not as moisturizing and feels like it burns my skin, although it does not get red. Smells like plastic. Hoping they will not keep this new formula.

I purchased this 8% Shea, (which reminds me of drug store product), because the sales rep and on-line assistance suggests it is best substitute for 5% SHEA ULTRA MOISTURIZING FLUID.(out of stock!) and it is NOT close! Before this, I tried
Immortelle precious fluid. NO comparison either. Why does L'OCCITANE keep changing product? My skin does not change, why should I change product???? I love ingredients, but please do not compare USA sales with other parts of world for your marketing.

I bought this 2 weeks ago because I could not find the ultra comforting cream(shea and cotton),the lady at the store told me that they changed the formula but that it is the same as the old version.NOT!!!! My face is so red and itchy after applying the new formula. SOOOOO BADDDDDD! I don't know why they discontinue greAt formulas and replace them with bad ones. PLEASE RETURN THE ULTRA COMFORTING CREAM (SHEA and COTTON)!!!!!!!!

My skin is crazy sensitive and nothing would calm it down till I found L'OCCITANE's honey cream for
sensitive skin. They discontinued this about four years ago and I was shattered. Very reluctantly, I switched to Ultra Comforting Cream and was relieved to find that it was also good. Not as fantastic, but still good. Now they've discontinued that. I hate that L'OCCITANE keeps doing this. The Shea Gentle Moisturizer has made my face explode with rashes and pimples. Do not recommend.

I miss the discontinued Ultra Rich Shea moisturizer with SPF!! I need to find a new moisturizer with SPF that has shea for
