LOVE LOVE LOVE this!! It WORKS! Texas is sooo humid, and I naturally have very oily skin. This really does make my makeup sit so nicely all day!

Please bring it back ASAP!I have oily face and this is a must in summer, especially when I wear make up. Without setting powder or any other oil-control primer, Red Rice itself can keep my make up for half a day.

Please never discontinue Riz...Love it so much, it's the best moisturizer in the world!

BRING RED RICE BACK! I was using this line and it was amazing! I suffer from acne and after multiple products used this one was the one that worked for me!!!! My dermatologist was amazed. I felt so good with it. Now I am using the Angelica one and the acne is back! I am gonna look for another brand of this is not back soon.

Please do not discontinue the Red Rice line! It is the only L'OCCITANE product that works with my skin type. The Angelica is too oily for me. I love the mattifying aspect of the Red Rice. Every time I have found a line that works for me (Lavender, Red Rice), it becomes discontinued. Very frustrating trying to find something else to replace it...

Please bring this back. I'm soooooooo sad that I cannot use it anymore. Please, please, and please bring it back!

This is the best moisturizer I have ever owned. I have acne-prone and acne-scarred skin - this product smoothed the scarred skin and reduced the oiliness of my face. I experienced no break-outs related to this product (which is very important to me). Also, I loved that the texture of the moisturizer was "milky" and light, and not heavy and sticky like other moisturizers. This product is wonderful, please do not discontinue!!

The best lotion I have ever used. Please don't discontinue the product!! When I notice the product is no longer available, I was very upset and went to the store to clear out all the RIZ they had in the store. Please, please, don't discontinue this great product. And the Angelica can't even do the job, Riz can't be replaced by angelica. Angelica has poor absorption, and it can't replace Riz.

47 year old African American male who's friends swear up and down that I have had work done given that I physically look about 15 years younger than I am. During the summer months I get really bad t-zone from excessive oil production. In combination with my cleanser regimen this moisturizer is a BRILLIANTLY engineered product. NOTHING WORKS LIKE THIS MOISTURIZER, PERIOD. Never discontinue this item. On the hottest days your skin will always look healthy.

This is the best moisturizer I have ever purchased. I promise I'm not over exaggerating. I'm a college student with combination skin and very little time to get ready in the morning. Fortunately, this lotion keeps my face matte and very soft, is an awesome primer for makeup, and my pores unclogged- my mild acne has cleared up significantly since I've started using this! awesome product. A bit pricey, but definitely worth the price. Love this!

I am very sensitive to feeling like I have something on my face. I'd pretty much written off ever being able to tolerate a moisturizer on my face at all. This moisturizer is amazing. I've tried other supposedly light, oil-free moisturizers, I've tried other "mattifying" products, they all bothered me. This one doesn't bother me. Not only that, but I somehow end up feeling less greasy at the end of the day than I would if I weren't wearing it. Highly recommend this product!

I LOVE this line! I wish it wasn't being discontinued. This was the only line that would keep my acne in check. Tried the new Angelica line but it is nowhere near the same and my acne is back. Please, please, please bring this line back...the toner was so amazing too!

For someone who has really bad hormonal acne, semi-oily skin in certain areas and facial scarring, this product is the only moisturizer (after trying dozens of creams) that reduced my acne and scarring. Also, it gives me a soft, glowing, and young look. I almost wish I took before and after photos! The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish it contained more than 1 fl oz, but it's still so worth it!

I love this product!! I have very sensitive skin and this moisturizer is great-. It has also cleared up my skin and I seen results in 2days. But I must note I use the whole line.......its great!!

This is an oily girl's best friend. What a wonderful product. My skin stays matte for well over eight hours. I am not constantly having to blot my face or use a toner. Thank you for such a wonderful product. I will definately be a repeat customer.

This product is amazing! I went from having dry skin to combination skin, and tried several products to treat breakouts; this is the only product that actually prevented it. I have used all the lines of L'Occinate, and find them great, however this has really helped me deal with an ongoing issue. I use it with the Olive Foam Cleanser and the Red Rice Toner. I highly recommend this product. It seems like it does rebalance oil production, as indicated in proven results.

I have tried MANY products to help reduce the shine and greasiness of my skin. I don't want to think about how much money I've spent. This is the ONLY product that truly works. It keeps my skin feeling light and shinefree. I know I sound like an infomercial, but I LOVE this product. The only thing better would be Accutane, a prescription med with a lot of side-effects. I will be a life-long customer because of this product.

I have pretty oily skin and I've had pimples since I was ten. Now I am 25 and I still struggle with breakouts and itchy red skin. I was using Qiora for a while and that did work but it was just way too expensive. I bounced around different supermarket moisturizers for a while and they left me feeling greasy. This really works! My face remains 100% oil free for 6 hours and then was a little bit oily after 12. Not only do I look better, I feel better.

I bought this with the Foaming Cleanser and FINALLY I have not had a face full of oil first thing in the morning! It's absolutely wonderful! I hated having to wipe my face off each morning before I could do anything else because of my oily skin. It was terrible! I'm 56 years old and have searched the world over, or so it seemed, for a wonderful product that cleansed and yet didn't leave me feeling oily. Thanks L'Occitane! I am forever grateful.

My face has suffered for years with a very oily and acne prone complexion and most products just dried my face out severely and made my condition worse. This is the very FIRST facial moisturizer I've ever been able to use that doesn't irritate my face and also helps keep it from becoming oily.

Like many of the commenters, I have oily and acne-prone skin and this is the most effective oil controlling product I've come across so far. And I've tested a myriad of products. It worked immediately and keeps shine minimal for at least 5 hours and sometimes more. I am very impressed. Strangely, I found it more effective if I apply it over my foundation instead of under, but it may work differently for others. I recommend it.

This is the "best" mattifier/moisturizer out in the market. I have used numerous ones with perfect immediate results and then after an hour having an oil production all over my face. This is the only one that does what it says; moisturizes and mattifies the face for a fresh result all day long...well maybe I need a touch up at around 5:00pm...Finally, after searching for years, I have found what makes my skin flawless for a whole day.

I just came back from my local L'OCCITANE and the Red Rice moisturizer has to be discontinued!!! What a disappointment, they are replacing it with the angelica line (total fail!). Please bring this lotion back!! it is wonderful!!

I'm so sad because the Red Rice line was discontinued. I think its quality for oily blemish skin is the best in the market. However, people who use Red Rice rarely express their opinion on cosmetic review website such as Makeupalley. Therefore, very less people know about its magic quality. I'm a L'OCCITANE Red Rice holic person. It is very very sad when discovering Red Rice line was discontinued by L'OCCITANE France. I'm using the whole line and my skin become obvious better and better day by day. I would use Red Rice products until L'OCCITANE USA has no more in stock.

I absolutely LOVE this product, and am so upset that it is being discontinued. It is the only moisturizer I have ever been able to wear during the day because it eliminates all signs of oily skin and leaves a nice matte finish. I cannot express how much I will miss this product.

Amazing product! My husband has been using it for 2 years now and I had to stock up and buy 3 more since its being discontinued. Shame on you L'OCCITANE!!!! First the Almond Apple and now the RICE??!!?!?!? What is going on?

I love this product. I have oily, sensitive skin and it has been a skin saver. Only downside is that there is a lot in the container left after the pump stops being able to dispense the product. Oh, and that they are discontinuing :( How horrible.

For all of you loyal users of this product, be warned that I just received confirmation from the company that they are discontinuing this line! I was told it will be "replaced with a new matte moisturizer from the Angelica line." I'm so disappointed in losing this great product.

This is an incredible moisturizer. Great for oily or combination skin. I love the matte feel when its applied. Truly a wonderful feeling on your face when you wear it.

Awesome! While the whole Red Rice line is great...this makes all the difference in the world. I have extremely oily skin, but I put this on and it keeps my face fresh and shine free the entire day! It has also cleared up my skin and at the same time is so gentle in moisturizing and preventing any irritating redness or dry patches. Love it!

I love this moisturizer! I don't have a terribly oily skin, and I have been using it as a summer daytime moisturizer and it has done an amazing job in keeping my face hydrated, yet matte - even in a humid climate! It has a great smell, it feels very light on my skin, and it also makes my skin feel smooth.

I love this product from L'Occitane! I got it in the mail 2 weeks ago and ever since I started using it my blemishes are going away! If you go to an L'Occitane Boutique around you ask a sales associate to assist you with your concerns. Sometimes they have mini facials @ selected boutique's. I said I had oily skin and acne & they recommended the Red rice collection and the Immortelle Brightening Instant Exfoliator, with the red rice kit and my face looked as I got a 2hr facial! Love, L'Occitane.

I have always had very oily skin; I mean REALLY OILY!I bought this a month ago and been using it since, and now I can tell it is the only thing that could deal with the oil in my face IT IS THE REAL DEAL!!!!

I love this stuff! I have rosacea and find that it even helps to calm that down. My skin feels great, velvety finish.

I have oily skin and after using this product I had some breakouts as well. I must say, this moisturizer isn't very efficient in absorbing an oil on the skin and leaves a shiny mask on the face. Now I started using the immortelle precious fluid instead. it's not perfect, but defenetely better.

I was excited about the reviews and love L'Occitane products. I have Rosacea, very oily skin that is very sensitive. This did leave my skin far less oily, but then I broke out in tiny pimples. I would rather deal with the oil than the pimples! Everyone's skin is different though. Every other L'Occitane product I have tried has been miraculous.

The only moisturizer I can use under my sunscreen during summer. Please do not discontinue it! Otherwise I will have to do trial and error again with endless number of moisturizers in the market.

I was going to try this to replace the Almond-Apple moisturizer that I have loved so much (that was discontinued). But now that I see this was discontinued too, I'm giving up on these lines and seeking a consistently available product with another company. With so many reviews to "please keep a product" I wish the company would reconsider this constant changing of products. It has exhausted my customer loyalty.

I was going to buy this, but if they're discontinuing it, there's no point in getting hooked on something that I won't be able to keep on using! Shame, though, because it looks like the product is a good one for adult acne, and I am sick of OTC crud that either does nothing or makes the problem worse.

I'm 17 and every time after I take shower, the T-zone on my face, esp my nose will get oily very quickly, maybe due to the sudden dryness that stimulates the oil glands to secrete more oil. Also, sometimes when I take a shower in the morning, I will then apply this moisturizer once my face gets dried (not damp dry). Then in the coming hours of the day, my face will stay matte, non-oily, and healthy, velvety to touch! It really works!

I really like this product. I'm 24, & this moisturizer does a good job of keeping my face smooth. My face no longer feels oily after I use it. My face also stays that way for a good part of the day. The only downside is that it isn't moisturizing enough for me to use in the cold, harsh western NY winters. If you have oily or combination skin, I recommend you try this.

i love this product as well. it keeps my very oily face shine and oil free through out the day. The only complaint i have is, the product is too small and too expensive. I have to move to other similar product from another brand as this one does not last me too long and can't keep up with the price/size.

This product is quite good. Its the only one that doesn't make my face look oily and still moisturizes it. My only complaint is that it comes in a very small size and doesn't last that long if you use it regularly.

I love this Product. But it's such a small bottle for the price. I use the cleanser too, which is great and a little bit lasts me a long time but the face fluid is small compared to the price. I wish they could either reduce the price of the face fluid or make the bottle bigger.

It keeps your face matte, while still giving some moisture. If you have really oily skin, you'd want to try this out. I use it when an unexpected break out occurs. If you're looking for deep moisture, you'll want to look elsewhere.

I love this product as well! It is so light weight and smells good. Love the smell, smells not like rice, but of something pleasant, but not too strong! Perfect for this skin type and light weight! LOVE IT!

After the reading the testimonials I was very excited to use this product. In fact, I tried the whole line of L'Occitane skin care products. I have acne prone, oily and aging skin. Even though I love all the other skin care products, this product did nothing to reduce my oily completion. With in an hour after application, my face just shines as bright as before and feels heavy and oily. Sorry.

I have oily and acne-prone skin. All of the mattifying moisturizers that I had used are only effective for a couple hours after their application. Unlike the others, this face fluid leaves my skin non-oily for almost the whole working hours and it also smells nice, subtle and clean. I do recommend the entire range of L'Occitane Organic Red Rice products for you who have oily or combination skin.

I just love this product. I have an allergy on the right side of my face and I tried everything. By the second time I used this product, my allergy already disappeared. I enjoy the sensation of hydrating skin that it leaves behind.

I'm a 48 year old man and over the last 35 years or so I've probably tried about every skin line out there. My forehead is an oil factory and I have never found products that work until I tried the sample of Ultra-matte Face Fluid. Most products are temporary at best and often dry the skin. This stuff gets rid of shiny forehead and does not leave the skin tight and dry. It's fabulous; it does what L'Occitane says it will do. I bought the whole line.

I was skeptical before using this product because I've tried so many other mattifiers on the market which do not live up to their claims. Immediately I saw results w/this, visibly reducing oil, but also making my skin feel cleaner and better w/out stripping. The most important feature though is that make-up goes on smoothly over it, unlike many other mattifiers or moisturizers. Skin texture looks better even over time. Love all these rice products!

I use this during the summer when my face gets greasy the most. It works really well during the day in the hot sun!

I have sensitive, oily, and combination skin--what i imagine to be the most difficult skin in the world, yet this moisturizer has tamed it! I use it after i shower, and my skin remains feeling clean as well as moisturized. I would recommend this product to anyone who has skin like mine :)

I loved this product! I took home a sample and did find it had a very nice matte finish. My face felt smooth and fresh all day. I was surprised it worked so nicely on skin because I never really considered it "oily" except on the nose and forehead on a hot day. I was worried it would dry me too much but it was very moisturizing. I do live in Hawaii so perhaps normal to oily is actually what I am. In the mainland, especially during winter, my skin peels, it's so dry.

Not good for oily skin. There was absolutely nothing mattifying about this moisturizer. I have oily skin and 20 minutes after using this my face was shiny and felt greasy. I used it 3 times with the same results. It does however have a very pleasant scent. I wouldn't recommend for oily skin.

This has a marvelous texture, but it contains rice powder which is highly comedogenic* and can cause a rash. Thus, I do not recommend it. However, give it a try, as it may work just fine for you.
