At L’OCCITANE, we are committed to limiting the environmental impact of our actions and products, to improving the well-being of both our customers and employees, and to supporting the causes close to our heart whenever possible.

We always design our packaging to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Our boxes and printed materials use paper and cardboard from sustainably managed forests and are certified bleached without the use of chlorine. We limit the use of outer packaging and are also working to optimize the recyclability of our packaging by using the appropriate materials. Through Braille labelling, we strive to make our products accessible to visually impaired people.

Through both the company and the L'OCCITANE Foundation we continue our efforts so that we can build on these commitments even further.

L’OCCITANE for Japan

Following the earthquake on March 11, 2011, L’OCCITANE made a commitment to support reconstruction in Japan, a country with which the company has a privileged relationship. After initially donating 50,000 products to those evacuated from their homes, L’OCCITANE is now helping to restore and re-equip a community center in Kamaishi.
